Barcelona's Champions League visit to Lisbon is on Wednesday 20 January 2027 at the Estádio José Alvalade, kick-off 8pm, the same time in the UK because Lisbon keeps UK time. Club status: not on sale yet at the official seller (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Resale seats on Hellotickets start at £221 in the Shortside Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026).

UEFA has fixed the game for Wednesday 20 January 2027, kick-off 8pm at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon. Portugal and the UK share the same clock in January, so there is no time difference to work out: 8pm in Lisbon is 8pm at home.

Champions League coverage in the UK is decided by the competition's broadcast partners, and no channel is named in the fixture information, so check the listings in the week of the match. If you are flying out, an evening game midweek usually means a night in Lisbon rather than a same-day return.

Not on sale yet: not in the club's list of open games; members' windows come first, then supporters.

Membership: Sócio (member) with Gamebox season pass: sold out for 2026/27.

How to get Sporting Lisbon v Barcelona tickets

Sporting's European nights are sold through the club's calendar shop, tickets.sporting.pt. A fixture only gets its "Comprar bilhetes" button when its sale opens, and Barcelona had no button when checked in October.

  1. Gamebox holders. Most home seats are already taken by Gamebox season passes, both of which show 'Esgotado' (sold out) for 2026/27. Holders also have purchase priority for any home game their package does not include.
  2. Sócios. Members buy next, in windows ordered by seniority, so long-standing members go before newer ones. Dates have not been announced.
  3. Adeptos. Registered supporters follow if seats remain. For Barcelona, that last phase may be small or may not happen at all.
  4. Gameback. Pass holders who cannot attend can put their seat back on sale through the club and receive cashback, which is Sporting's own resale route.

Without a membership, resale is the practical way to plan ahead. Sellers on Hellotickets set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. The rest of the competition is on Champions League tickets, and Barcelona's other fixtures on Barcelona tickets.

The ground has four stands. The Bancada Sul (South Goal End) is home to Sporting's organised fan groups; the Bancada Norte (North Goal End) faces it. Along the touchlines are the Bancada Poente on the west side and the Bancada Nascente on the east. Since the 2025 works closed the moat, capacity is about 52,095.

On Hellotickets, "Shortside Tier" means one of the goal ends and "Longside Tier" a touchline stand. Barcelona supporters are placed in sector A9, which Sporting can extend to sectors A7, A11, B7, B11 and B13, behind barriers with stewards and police.
