Dates and venues
Scotland v Ireland in the 2027 Guinness Men's Six Nations is set for Friday 5 March 2027 at Scottish Gas Murrayfield in Edinburgh. Tickets are not on sale yet at the official seller: Scottish Rugby says the sale dates will be confirmed later in 2026, with a pre-sale for Scotland Supporters Club members ahead of the general sale. Hospitality is already on sale.
Resale listings on Hellotickets start at £301.
What matters most here is timing. Murrayfield releases tickets in batches, and clubs, debenture holders and the visiting union have prior access, so only part of the stadium ever reaches the public sale.

The match is on Friday 5 March 2027 at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, Scotland's national rugby stadium and the largest stadium in Scotland, about two miles west of Edinburgh city centre. The kick-off time is TBC.
Turnstiles open three hours before kick-off, and road closures around the ground run from three hours before to four hours after it, with no public parking. After the final whistle, tram queues peak straight away; Scottish Rugby suggests staying in the Fan Village for 30-45 minutes before heading off.

How tickets are sold (official route) and resale
Scotland home Tests are not sold in one go. Priority groups come first, then the remaining tickets are released in stages:
- Hospitality and travel packages. On sale now: The Murrayfield Experience hospitality and Scottish Rugby Travel packages.
- Scotland Supporters Club pre-sale. Not dated yet. It usually opens the day before the general sale, and new members pay £50 for Matchday or £75 for Plus membership.
- General sale. Not dated yet, on the Scottish Rugby Online Ticket Centre.
The autumn shows the usual pattern. For the November 2026 Tests, multi-match packages went on sale in late April and single tickets on 4 June for SSC members and 5 June for everyone else, and Scotland v New Zealand has sold out, leaving only hospitality.
Until the sale opens, or once it sells out, seats listed on Hellotickets are the other route. Sellers set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. Scotland match tickets are delivered only through the Scottish Rugby Ticketing App, so read the delivery details on the listing.

Where to sit
Murrayfield has four stands. The West Stand is the main stand, under a cantilever roof; the West Fan Village sits behind it and the team bus arrives on that side. The East Stand faces it across the pitch and has lower and upper tiers. The North Stand and South Stand are at either end, and Guinness Corner is behind the North Stand on match days.
On Hellotickets, some listings give only the tier, as "Lower Tier" or "Upper Tier". Others name a section, and the letter gives the stand: W5, W9 and W15 are West Stand sections and S17 is in the South Stand. The Changing Places toilet is on the West Stand's ground floor.
Frequently asked questions
Where will the Ireland vs. Scotland match be played?
This Six Nations fixture, Scotland v Ireland on Friday 5 March 2027, is played at Scottish Gas Murrayfield in Edinburgh, Scotland's national rugby stadium. It stands about two miles west of the city centre and has its own tram stop next to the Roseburn Street entrance.
How to get Scotland tickets?
Through Scottish Rugby. Scotland Supporters Club members get a pre-sale, usually the day before the general sale on the Scottish Rugby Online Ticket Centre, and new members pay £50 (Matchday) or £75 (Plus). For this match both are still to be dated, while hospitality and Scottish Rugby Travel packages are on sale now.
Are 6 Nations tickets hard to get?
At Murrayfield, often yes. Clubs, debenture holders and the visiting union have prior access, so the public sale covers only part of the stadium and tickets are released in batches. For the November 2026 Tests, Scotland v New Zealand sold out and only hospitality is left, which is why the Supporters Club pre-sale matters.
When do Scotland v Ireland tickets go on sale?
Not yet. As of the official check on 5 Nov 2026, Scottish Rugby said sale dates for the 2027 Six Nations would be confirmed later in 2026. The Supporters Club pre-sale usually comes the day before the general sale, and hospitality packages are already available.
What time is kick-off for Scotland v Ireland?
The kick-off time is TBC for Friday 5 March 2027. Once it is confirmed, remember that turnstiles at Scottish Gas Murrayfield open three hours before kick-off and that road closures around the stadium start at the same time, with no public parking.
How do I get to Murrayfield?
Take the tram to the Murrayfield Stadium stop, next to the Roseburn Street entrance, or walk about 15 minutes from Haymarket station. Lothian buses 12, 26 and 31 and the Airlink 100 run to Corstorphine Road, and park and ride buses run from Ingliston and Hermiston.
