The fixture currently sits on Sunday 16 May 2027 at the Estadio de Anoeta, San Sebastian, but that date is provisional. La Liga sets its exact days and kick-off times a few weeks ahead, so the match could still move within that weekend, and no kick-off has been published.
San Sebastian is one hour ahead of the UK, so whatever local time is announced, take an hour off for UK viewing. No UK broadcaster is named in the fixture information; coverage of Spanish league games is listed by the broadcasters once the time is fixed. Late-season dates in Spain are often among the last to be confirmed.
Official ticketing
Not on sale yet: the club's ticket site lists only five LaLiga home games; Barcelona is not among them.
How to get Real Sociedad v Barcelona tickets
Real Sociedad's model is simple on paper: their information site says general admission tickets are on sale for every match of the season, and you do not need to be a member to buy. The catch is timing.
- Wait for the release. On 21 October the club's La Liga list on tickets.realsociedad.eus, the platform run with Fever, showed only five home games: Levante, Rayo Vallecano, Sevilla, Getafe and Osasuna. Barcelona was not on it.
- Set the alert. The platform offers a waiting-list alert for games not yet on sale, which is the easiest way to hear when Barcelona appears.
- Buy on the club platform. Once listed, the game is sold to the public. For comparison, the league games on sale in October started at €20 or €30 for an adult; a visit from Barcelona has not been priced.
If you want to secure seats before the club releases them, resale is the only option. Sellers on Hellotickets set their own prices, which can sit above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. Once the club sale opens, it will normally be the less expensive route. Real Sociedad's full home list is on Real Sociedad tickets.
Good to know before you go
- Use the waiting-list alertRegister on tickets.realsociedad.eus for the alert on games not yet on sale, so you know as soon as Barcelona joins the La Liga list.
- Book flexible travelThe May date is provisional and the kick-off time unknown. Choose flights and hotels in San Sebastian that you can change.
- Gates open an hour earlyReal Sociedad open the gates one hour before kick-off, so plan to reach Anoeta in good time once the slot is known.
- Allow for resale deliveryHellotickets sends tickets as soon as it receives them from the seller, sometimes up to 1–2 days before the event.
Where to sit at Estadio de Anoeta
Resale listings at Anoeta use Spanish labels that tell you the view. Fondo is behind a goal and Lateral runs along the touchline, while Grada Alta is the upper tier and Grada Baja the lower. So Fondo Grada Alta is high behind a goal, and Lateral Grada Baja is close to the pitch on a side.
For this game, sellers list all four combinations, plus seats marked Category 1 and Category 2, which do not name a stand. No separate away section has been listed for Barcelona supporters, so ask the seller where a categorised seat is before you buy. Barcelona's other fixtures are on Barcelona tickets.
