Real Madrid v Racing Santander: date, kick-off and how to watch

Racing Santander, from Cantabria on Spain's northern coast, are due at the Santiago Bernabéu on La Liga matchday 36, listed by Real Madrid for Sunday 16 May 2027 with the date and time to be confirmed. It comes a fortnight before the league finale at home to Deportivo A Coruna. Only VIP hospitality is on sale at the club, and for this game it starts at €390, well above the club's €275 base.

General admission: not on sale yet at the official seller (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Hellotickets lists resale seats from £143 in Category 3 (checked 5 Nov 2026).

The club's ticket page shows "May 16 (date and time to be confirmed)". La Liga will confirm the final day and kick-off of matchday 36 closer to the date; Spain is one hour ahead of the UK, so convert the time when it is published.

The game is at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, in the Chamartín district. UK broadcasters announce their La Liga selections nearer each round, so the channel, if any, will be confirmed in the TV listings that week.

How to get Real Madrid v Racing Santander tickets

Seven months out, the Racing sale has no dates, but the route is clear.

Real Madrid sell only online, on realmadrid.com and on entradas.com, the second channel the club names as official. There is no phone line, and the tickets are mobile. The release begins with a discounted window for club members, continues with a short slot for Madridistas Premium and Platinum, and ends with the general sale, where anyone can buy. Madridista Premium costs €35 a year and is the simplest way to move ahead of the public.

Prices and seating zones are published only when a match goes on sale. The Sevilla game in October 2026 started at €75 in its general sale; Racing's will be set separately. Going by the two most recent home games, whose general sales opened 5 and 12 days before kick-off, the public window would fall in early May.

Hospitality is already bookable: the VIP programme for all remaining home games opened on 10 September 2026. Resale seats are listed on Hellotickets, where sellers set their own prices, sometimes above face value, and the final price appears before you pay; the club's general sale is normally cheaper while it is open. Racing fans buy through their own club. The season finale is on Real Madrid v Deportivo A Coruna tickets, and other fixtures on Real Madrid tickets.

Where to sit at Santiago Bernabeu

Behind the goals sit Fondo Norte, on Calle de Rafael Salgado, and Fondo Sur, on Avenida de Concha Espina. The long stands are Lateral Oeste, along the Paseo de la Castellana, and Lateral Este, on Calle del Padre Damián, where the boxes are. Each rises through Lower Tier, Upper Tier and Grandstand to the four amphitheatres.

Racing's resale is sold by category only: Category 2 Fondo and Lateral, the Spanish "Categoría" equivalents, Category 2, 3 and 4, and Category 1 with Superior, Gold and Silver bands. Fondo means an end and Lateral a touchline; the others give no stand, so read the listing before you buy. The away section's location is not published.
