Named lower touchline offers sit higher, but numbered categories do not form a consistent ladder across sellers. Compare block and tier before judging a price. Hospitality should be assessed by its stated inclusions, while seller's-choice terms need checking for how the seat is selected.

Real Madrid v Barcelona: date, kick-off and how to watch
El Clásico at the Santiago Bernabéu is provisionally listed for Sunday 9 May 2027 in La Liga, with kick-off TBC. Real Madrid are selling VIP hospitality from €790, but standard tickets have no announced sale dates. That distinction matters if you want an ordinary match seat rather than a hospitality package, especially before booking a trip to Madrid.
The standard-ticket status is not on sale yet at the official seller, checked 5 Nov 2026. On Hellotickets, resale starts at £790 under the Category 3 label, checked 5 Nov 2026.

The club's fixture page gives Sunday 9 May 2027 as provisional, with both the date and kick-off awaiting confirmation. The venue is the Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid's Chamartín district. A default evening time in a booking URL should not be used as the match time.
No UK television channel is specified; the broadcasters will confirm their coverage. Once the schedule is settled, distinguish Madrid local time from UK time. The La Liga tickets page covers other Spanish league fixtures.

How to get Real Madrid v Barcelona tickets
Real Madrid sell online through their own ticketing service and also list entradas.com as an official channel; phone sales are not offered. For this Clásico, VIP packages opened on 10 September 2026 and start at €790. General-admission prices have not been published.
The usual standard-ticket sequence begins with a discounted club-member window, followed by priority access for Madridistas Premium and Platinum, then a general sale. None of those Clásico windows has an announced date. Madridista Premium costs €35 per year and provides early access, but membership does not promise an available seat.
Check the club's match page for the dated release and seating zones. Tickets bought using a member discount are personal and non-transferable, and only mobile tickets are valid. Barcelona supporters must obtain the away allocation through the visiting club; the Barcelona tickets page provides wider club context.
When considering Hellotickets resale, read the listing's delivery details. Sellers choose prices that may be above face value, with the final payable amount shown before checkout is completed. Our Real Madrid tickets guide explains the ordinary home-sale process.
Good to know before you go
- Recheck the Metro stationSantiago Bernabéu station has been closed for rebuilding. Confirm its status with Metro de Madrid before travelling; Nuevos Ministerios is an alternative.
- Leave luggage at your accommodationThe stadium has no cloakroom and does not admit bulky items or prams, so organise storage before heading to the match.
- Include children in the bookingEvery spectator needs a separate ticket, including children. Check that your purchase covers everyone travelling rather than assuming a child can share admission.
- Confirm the mobile transferOnly mobile tickets are valid, and discounted member tickets cannot be transferred. Establish the ticket type and delivery process before buying resale.
Where to sit at Santiago Bernabeu
Fondo Norte and Fondo Sur sit behind the north and south goals. Lateral Oeste follows the west touchline along Paseo de la Castellana, with Lateral Este opposite on Calle del Padre Damián. Fondo and Short Side offers therefore indicate an end-on position; Lateral and Long Side describe seats alongside the pitch.
The stadium map runs from Lower Tier and Upper Tier through Grandstand and the amphitheatre levels. Ask for the actual tier and block when a listing uses Category 3, Category 1 Superior or another seller category: those labels alone do not establish a precise place on the club map.
Real Madrid do not publish an away-section location in the available seating information. Do not infer Barcelona's allocation from a Fondo label; use the visiting club's designated route and seat details.
Frequently asked questions
How hard is it to get a Real Madrid ticket?
For this Clásico, standard sales have not opened, so availability cannot yet be assessed. Real Madrid normally admit club members first, then Madridistas Premium and Platinum, before the public sale. Priority access does not promise a seat; VIP hospitality is a separate offer already on sale.
How much are Real Madrid v Barcelona tickets?
Hellotickets resale starts at £790 in Category 3, checked 5 Nov 2026. At the club, VIP hospitality begins at €790, while ordinary admission prices remain unpublished. These products are different, so compare seating location and package inclusions rather than treating the VIP starting price as standard face value.
Can I buy Real Madrid v Barcelona tickets without being a member?
A general sale normally follows the member and Madridista priority windows, but Clásico dates are not announced. VIP packages are already available through the club. Madridista Premium costs €35 annually for early access; Barcelona supporters must use their club's route for the away allocation.
Is Real Madrid v Barcelona sold out?
The standard-ticket sale has not opened and has no release dates. VIP hospitality has been available since 10 September 2026. The standard-ticket status is not on sale yet at the official seller, checked 5 Nov 2026, so neither a total sell-out nor a full public sale should be inferred.
What time is kick-off for Real Madrid v Barcelona?
Kick-off remains TBC, and the club describes Sunday 9 May 2027 as a provisional date. The match is at the Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid. Wait for confirmation before setting travel times, and check whether the eventual published hour is Madrid local time or UK time.
