Real Madrid v Athletic Club Bilbao: date, kick-off and how to watch

Athletic Club Bilbao, the Basque side, visit the Santiago Bernabéu on matchday 24 of La Liga, which Real Madrid list for Sunday 14 February 2027 with the date and time still to be confirmed. At the club only VIP hospitality is on sale so far, from €450 for this game, well above the €275 at which Real Madrid's VIP range starts; standard seats have no sale date.

General admission status: not on sale yet at the official seller (checked 5 Nov 2026).

On Hellotickets, resale starts at £181 in Category 3 (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Real Madrid's ticket page shows "Feb 14 (date and time to be confirmed)" for this fixture. La Liga confirms the exact day and kick-off of each matchday later, so the game could still move within that weekend; Madrid is one hour ahead of the UK, so take that into account once the time is out.

The match is at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, in Madrid's Chamartín district on the Paseo de la Castellana. UK coverage of La Liga is confirmed by the broadcasters nearer the date, so check the listings in the week of the game rather than relying on early schedules.

How to get Real Madrid v Athletic Club Bilbao tickets

Real Madrid sell home tickets online only, through realmadrid.com, with entradas.com listed as their other official channel. There are no phone sales, and mobile tickets are the only valid format.

For a La Liga game like this, the release runs in three steps:

Club members buy first, at a discount.
Madridistas Premium and Platinum get a short priority window next. Madridista Premium costs €35 a year.
The general sale opens to everyone afterwards.

None of those steps has a date for Athletic. Seating zones and general-admission prices are published only when the match goes on sale; for comparison, the general sale for Real Madrid v Sevilla on 18 October 2026 started at €75. Recent public sales opened only 5 to 12 days before kick-off, so a February trip may have to be planned before you can buy at the club.

That is where resale comes in. Sellers on Hellotickets set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. If the club's general sale opens in time, it will normally be the cheaper option. Athletic's own supporters buy their seats through their club. More dates: Real Madrid tickets and La Liga tickets.

Good to know before you go

Metro checkSantiago Bernabéu metro station has been closed for rebuilding since 28 March 2026, with a new station planned for early 2027: check Metro de Madrid, or use Nuevos Ministerios.
No cloakroomThe stadium has no cloakroom and refuses bulky items and prams, so leave suitcases at your hotel.
A ticket for everyoneEvery spectator needs their own ticket, children included, so count the whole party when you buy.
Mobile onlyOnly mobile tickets get you in at the Bernabéu; resale tickets from Hellotickets are sent as soon as the seller passes them on, sometimes 1–2 days before.

Where to sit at Santiago Bernabeu

The Bernabéu has two ends, Fondo Norte on Calle de Rafael Salgado and Fondo Sur on Avenida de Concha Espina, and two sides, Lateral Oeste along the Paseo de la Castellana and Lateral Este on Calle del Padre Damián, where the boxes are. Each climbs from the Lower Tier through the Upper Tier and Grandstand to four amphitheatre levels.

Resale listings mix English and Spanish labels. "Fondo" and "Short Side" mean behind a goal; "Lateral" and "Long Side" a touchline; Upper, Middle and Lower Tier give the height. Numbered categories (Category 1 to 4, plus Superior and Gold) do not name a stand, so check the block before buying. Real Madrid do not publish where the away section is.
