Malaga v Barcelona: date, kick-off and how to watch

Barcelona's trip to Andalusia is pencilled in for Sunday 13 December 2026, a La Liga game at the Estadio La Rosaleda with kick-off TBC. Málaga release home games one by one on their own shop, and when it was checked on 21 October the Barcelona match had not been added.

Status at the club: not on sale yet at the official seller (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Seats listed on Hellotickets start at £332 in the Category 2 (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Sunday 13 December 2026 is the working date for the match at La Rosaleda in Málaga, and it is provisional. La Liga sets the final day and kick-off of each round a few weeks ahead, so a mid-December game could still shift within that weekend.

Spain is one hour ahead of the UK, so once the local time is published, the UK kick-off is an hour earlier. No UK broadcaster is named in the fixture information; check the La Liga listings once the round is fixed. Until then, book flights and hotels you can change.

How to get Malaga v Barcelona tickets

The club shop

Málaga CF's ticketing runs through entradas.malagacf.com. The shop shows only the match currently on sale: on 21 October that was Málaga v Racing on 7 November at 2pm local time, next to experiences and a members area. Barcelona, Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid had not been listed.

What we do not know yet

The club has not published the Barcelona sale, so the sale date, the prices and any members' priority are all unknown. Treat the members area as a separate part of the shop, not as proof that the match will be members-only. When the fixture appears, the booking page will set out who can buy and when.

Before the release

Resale is the only way to secure seats now. Sellers on Hellotickets set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. Once the club sale opens to you, it will normally cost less. Barcelona supporters can follow their club's season on Barcelona tickets; Real Madrid's visit a month later is on Malaga v Real Madrid tickets.

Good to know before you go

Watch for Barcelona on the shopMálaga list one match at a time on entradas.malagacf.com. Check after each home game for the Barcelona release.
Confirm what you are buyingThe club shop sells experiences as well as match tickets, so make sure your basket holds admission for Barcelona, not a separate product.
Ask about category seatsSeats sold under a category band do not name an area. Ask for the stand and tier before you compare them with named seats.
Hold on to your order emailHellotickets sends tickets as soon as it receives them from the seller, sometimes up to 1–2 days before the event.

Where to sit at Estadio La Rosaleda

With no sourced plan of La Rosaleda, we describe the areas through the sellers' own labels. Fondo Alto and Fondo Bajo are behind a goal, upper and lower tier. Tribuna Alta, Tribuna Baja, Preferencia Alta and Preferencia Baja are on the touchlines; in Spanish grounds Tribuna and Preferencia name the two side stands, again split into upper (Alta) and lower (Baja).

The listing that sets the starting price is Category 2, and like Category 3 it does not name a stand. Ask the seller where those seats are. No away section for Barcelona fans is identified in the resale data.
