Hamburg tickets 2026/27

Members' presales, HSV.ID checks and the Ticketbörse: how Hamburger SV sell Volksparkstadion tickets, with resale prices for each home game.

Updated 4 Nov 2026

Hamburger SV sell their biggest home games to members only. For the visit of Bayern Munich the presale opened to members on 6 October and the club stated there would be no free sale at all; the Gladbach game was handled the same way. Each match gets its own "Ticketinfos" page a few weeks ahead, and returned tickets go back on sale through the official HSV-Ticketbörse.

Without an HSV membership, buying from the club is rare for games of this size, which is why many visitors look at resale.

Resale listings on Hellotickets start from £271 (checked 5 Nov 2026).

How to get Hamburg tickets

How to buy Hamburg tickets (official route)

1. Join and set up your HSV.ID

Club tickets start with HSV membership, which is linked to your HSV.ID, the club account you need for every presale. Set it up well before a sale, because the verification on the day depends on it.

2. Watch the Ticketinfos page for each game

HSV create a "Ticketinfos" page for every home game a few weeks before it, numbered by matchday, on hsv.de/tickets. That page gives the sale dates and rules for the match, so it is the one to bookmark. For Borussia Dortmund, no sale had been announced at the last check.

3. Buy in the members' presale

For the big games the presale is the whole sale. Members could buy for Bayern Munich from 10am on 6 October, two tickets at most, and the club wrote "Es wird keinen freien Vorverkauf geben": there will be no free sale. The Gladbach game followed the same model, with members buying from 29 September and no free sale.

4. Get through the waiting room

The HSV ticket shop, at ticket-onlineshop.com/ols/hsv, uses a Queue-it waiting room. For the Bayern game it added a "Pre-Warteraum", a pre-waiting room where members confirm their HSV.ID with a six-digit code, with one device per member. Have your HSV.ID login ready before the start time.

5. Try the HSV-Ticketbörse

If you miss out, the club's official HSV-Ticketbörse resells tickets returned by other fans. It is the club-approved second chance and worth checking before you look elsewhere.

Hamburg resale tickets: what to expect, stand by stand

The visit of Bayern Munich sits at the top of Hamburg's resale market, with Hamburg v Borussia Dortmund tickets starting a little lower at the last check. For Hamburg v Bayern Munich tickets, the gap between tiers is wider than the gap between the two games.

Listings at the Volksparkstadion use the German tier names. The "Oberrang", the upper tier, is where both games open. The "Mittelrang" and "Unterrang", the middle and lower tiers, sit far higher and close to each other. For the Bayern game, seats in the away section are also listed: they are in the visitors' block, so leave them to Bayern supporters.

Prices on Hellotickets are set by the sellers and can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. Read the delivery details of any listing carefully; the Ticketbörse remains the club's own route for returned seats.

Volksparkstadion: stands, seating and getting there

The Volksparkstadion stands at Uwe-Seeler-Allee 9 in Bahrenfeld, away from the city centre. It holds 57,000 for league games including standing places, and about 51,500 for European matches, when the standing sections become seats.

  • Nordtribüne (North Stand), behind the north goal: home of the standing sections.
  • Westtribüne (West Stand), along the west touchline, with the Westplaza food and drink area behind it.
  • HanseMerkur family block: blocks 08A, 08B and 08C, with children's activities behind them.
  • Guest block 14A, in one corner of the bowl, for visiting fans.

The gates open 120 minutes before kick-off, and bags larger than A4 are not allowed in. First-aid stations sit in the four corners, behind blocks 22A, 28A, 8A and 14A.

Your HSV home ticket includes free travel on the HVV network, Hamburg's public transport, in zones A to F on matchday, digital tickets included. Take the S-Bahn to Stellingen (S3 and S5) or Othmarschen, then the free HSV shuttle bus, which usually runs from about 2 hours before kick-off; Stellingen and Eidelstedt are also about a 15-minute walk away. After the match, HSV advise going back towards the centre from Stellingen. The Bayern game kicks off at 3.30pm in Hamburg, 2.30pm in the UK.

Hamburg away tickets

At the Volksparkstadion, visiting supporters are in block 14A, which HSV call the guest block. For some higher-risk matches the South-West entrance is reserved for holders of guest-area tickets; otherwise any entrance can be used.

For HSV's own trip to Munich, Bayern set aside an allocation for visiting fans of up to a tenth of the Allianz Arena, with tickets marked "Guest Team". Watch HSV's ticket pages for how that allocation is sold to Hamburg supporters. For the wider league picture, see our Bundesliga tickets page.

Frequently asked questions

Is it easy to get Hamburg tickets?

Not for the big games. HSV sold Bayern Munich and Gladbach in members-only presales with no free sale, two tickets at most per member for Bayern, behind a waiting room that checks your HSV.ID with a six-digit code. If you miss out, the official HSV-Ticketbörse resells returned tickets; otherwise resale listings start from £271.

How to buy Hamburg FC tickets?

Become an HSV member and set up your HSV.ID, then watch the Ticketinfos page that the club creates for each home game a few weeks ahead on hsv.de/tickets. Buy in the members' presale through the HSV ticket shop, which uses a Queue-it waiting room, or look for returned seats on the official HSV-Ticketbörse.

How much are Hamburg tickets?

From the club, members pay the price set for each game in its presale, announced on the match's Ticketinfos page. On the resale market, seats listed on Hellotickets start from £271 (checked 5 Nov 2026): the upper tier, the Oberrang, opens the range, and the middle and lower tiers sit far higher. Sellers choose their prices, and you see the total before paying.

Can I buy Hamburg tickets without a membership?

For the biggest games, not from the club: the Bayern Munich and Gladbach presales were for members only and HSV said there would be no free sale. A general sale is rare at HSV. Without membership, the alternatives are returned tickets on the HSV-Ticketbörse, where available, or resale listings on Hellotickets from £271.

Where do away fans sit at the Volksparkstadion?

Visiting supporters are in block 14A, in one corner of the stadium, which HSV call the guest block. For some higher-risk matches the South-West entrance is reserved for holders of guest-area tickets, while at other games any entrance can be used. Home fans buying resale should avoid listings marked as the away section.

How do I get to the Volksparkstadion?

Take the S-Bahn to Stellingen or Othmarschen and then the free HSV shuttle bus, which usually runs from about 2 hours before kick-off, or walk about 15 minutes from Stellingen or Eidelstedt. HSV home tickets include free HVV travel in zones A to F on matchday. After the match, HSV advise heading back to the centre via Stellingen.
