Bournemouth v Coventry: date, kick-off and how to watch

Coventry's Premier League trip to the Vitality Stadium falls on Saturday 19 December 2026, a traditional 3pm kick-off the weekend before Christmas. The match was on sale at the official seller when checked on 5 Nov 2026. Bournemouth's points drops are under way: 27 or more home points opened at 10am on Tuesday 3 November and 21+ on Thursday 5 November, with 15+ to follow on Sunday 8 November and Cherry Tuesday, for anyone with one point or more, on 10 November.

Resale seats listed on Hellotickets start at £351 in the Longside Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Because it is a 3pm Saturday game, it will not be shown live on UK television, so a seat in the ground is the only way to see it as it happens.

Kick-off is 3pm on Saturday 19 December 2026 at the Vitality Stadium, the club's home in Kings Park, Boscombe. The match falls inside the 3pm blackout: Premier League games starting at that time on a Saturday are not broadcast live in the UK, so no live channel will carry it in that slot.

The slot can still change if the match is picked for television later in the season. The club confirms any move, and the time on your digital ticket in the AFC Bournemouth app is the one to trust.

How to get Bournemouth v Coventry tickets

For the home sections, Bournemouth reward attendance rather than a membership fee. Each Premier League match is released by Cherries home points, starting on a Tuesday.

  • Tuesday 3 November, 10am (open): first access for holders of 27+ home points, as the club confirmed on 2 November.
  • Thursday 5 November, 10am (open): 21+ home points, subject to the seats remaining.
  • Sunday 8 November, 10am: 15+ home points, subject to the seats remaining.
  • Cherry Tuesday, 10 November, 10am: held-back seats for anyone with one home point or more.
  • After that: the club's Ticket Exchange, where season ticket holders resell unused seats to supporters with 1+ home point, plus returns released on the weekday before the match.

A general sale is rare at Dean Court and has mostly been used for cup ties, so do not wait for one here. Supporters based outside the UK can join Global Cherries for £45 including P&P in 2026/27.

With no points on your account, compare resale. Seats listed on Hellotickets come from sellers who set their own prices, sometimes above face value; the final price is shown before you pay. See all dates on the Bournemouth tickets page, or Coventry tickets for the Sky Blues' other games.

Good to know before you go

  • Safe standing behind the north goalThe whole North Stand, plus rows J-R of corner blocks 9C and 24C, is safe standing. Children under 3 are not admitted to those areas.
  • Leave the pram at homeBuggies and prams are not permitted inside the stadium. For a family with a child under 3, the club suggests the Main Stand or East Stand.
  • Take the bus or trainMorebus routes 1a/1c, 1b, 22, 33, M2 and X3 stop on Holdenhurst Road, Littledown Avenue, Ashley Road and Christchurch Road; Pokesdown station is about 15 minutes on foot.
  • Pre-Christmas deliveryHellotickets sends tickets as soon as it receives them from the seller, sometimes up to 1–2 days before the event, so make sure the app is installed before the weekend.

Where to sit at Vitality Stadium

Two stands run along the touchlines: the Vitality Main Stand, beside the VIP West car park and Kings Park Drive, and the Vitality East Stand opposite. The goal ends are the Vitality Steve Fletcher North Stand, entirely licensed safe standing, and the South Stand, built in 2013 on what had been an open end.

The away section is unusual: Coventry's supporters sit along the side, in East Stand blocks 21-24 near the South Stand, entering by Gate D.

The Hellotickets zones for this game, "Longside Tier" and "Longside Section", are both touchline areas without a named block. A longside seat could be in the Main Stand or the East Stand, so if you are going as a home supporter, check the block with the seller.

Releases opened at 10am on Tuesday 3 November for 27+ home points holders and on 5 November for 21+, with 15+ on 8 November, so availability for supporters with fewer points depends on what is left before Cherry Tuesday on 10 November.
