The Coventry Building Society Arena, on Jimmy Hill Way in Rowleys Green, north Coventry, was the Ricoh Arena until 2021 and is often shortened to CBS Arena. Coventry City have played here since it opened in 2005, and in 2026/27 they do so as a Premier League club, in a stadium bowl of 32,609 seats.
The site holds two venues: the stadium and a separate indoor arena of 8,000, so check which one your ticket names. Bill Bailey brings his tour on Friday 13 November 2026 and Jack Whitehall follows on Wednesday 27 January 2027, both sold through Ticketmaster UK and on sale there when checked on 21 October; The Enemy play on Saturday 20 March 2027.
Resale listings on Hellotickets for these events begin at £136 (checked 5 Nov 2026).
The next date: Coventry v Crystal Palace on Saturday 21 November.
For the football, sales open to 2026/27 Sky Blues members first, then to supporters with a purchase history going back to 2016/17. On 20 October, the club had announced none of the sales from Crystal Palace on 21 November onwards. Our Coventry tickets 2026/27 page follows each of them, and the Bill Bailey tickets and Jack Whitehall tickets pages list the rest of their tours.

Seating plan and stands
The bowl is a single tier on three sides; only the West Stand has two:
- West Stand: the main stand, on the west touchline. A larger lower tier sits below the hospitality boxes, hotel rooms look out over the pitch, and the directors' and media seats are here.
- East Stand: facing it on the east touchline. Its corner by the South Stand is Singers' Corner, the centre of the home support, and blocks 12-16 have home safe standing in rows AA to XX.
- North Stand: behind the north goal, with the family area and general admission seating.
- South Stand: behind the south goal, with the big screen. It takes the away supporters, usually in blocks 6-9, where blocks 6 and 7 have safe standing.
The South Stand calls for care on the resale market. It often carries the lowest listings on Hellotickets, but it is the away end: Wikipedia describes an away section of about 3,000 seats next to the West Stand, with the rest of the stand either closed for segregation or opened to home fans when away demand is low. If you want to sit with Coventry supporters, check the block before you pay.
"Longside" listings run along the East or West Stand. Some listings label the stands with sponsor names rather than West, East, North and South, so match the block number against our Coventry Building Society Arena seating plan.
Prices follow the opponent. At the last check, the visits of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United sat at the top of the list, followed by Manchester City and Chelsea; the autumn games against Fulham and Sunderland, both now played, had started lowest.
Getting there
The arena stands next to the Arena Park Shopping Centre, 800 yards from junction 3 of the M6. Coventry Arena station is on the site, but with one train an hour in each direction (double carriages on matchdays), the club's shuttle from the city centre is the main public transport option on matchdays:
- Matchday shuttle: from the Bus Interchange at Coventry station, via White Street Coach Park, to the bus station at Arena Park. A return costs £5, paid contactless on board.
- Train: Coventry Arena station is about five minutes' walk from the stadium.
- Bus: services 3, 15 and 20/20A/20B stop at the retail park opposite, about ten minutes on foot.
- Taxi: 10-15 minutes from Coventry station.
- Car: satnav CV6 6AQ. Paid car parks are on site, with 2,200 spaces, and nearby; Car Park C is the closest to the South Stand. The club's matchday guide warns of an A444 road closure after the final whistle.
Coventry City tickets are digital, emailed for Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, so download yours before you set off and have the wallet open at the turnstile. Turnstiles open 90 minutes before kick-off and admit ticket holders only.
Bags are searched, sometimes with wands, and large bags, suitcases, food and drink, bottles, cans, long umbrellas, tablets and buggies are refused. The concourse kiosks are cashless, and outside the safe standing areas persistent standing is not allowed.
Frequently asked questions
How many seats does Coventry Arena have?
The stadium bowl has 32,609 seats, the figure the venue publishes and the Premier League Handbook 2026/27 gives as its ground capacity. Wikipedia puts the concert capacity at 40,000, and the same site has a separate indoor arena holding 8,000, so check which of the two your event is in.
How do I get to Coventry Arena from city centre?
On a matchday, take the club's shuttle from the Bus Interchange at Coventry station; it runs via White Street Coach Park to the bus station at Arena Park, and a return costs £5, paid contactless on board. Coventry Arena station is on site but has only one train an hour each way, and a taxi from Coventry station takes 10-15 minutes.
When do Coventry City tickets go on sale?
Each home sale opens to 2026/27 Sky Blues members first, then to supporters with a purchase history going back to 2016/17. On 20 October, the club had not announced the sales for the fixtures from Crystal Palace on Saturday 21 November onwards, including the visits of Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United.
Where do away fans sit at the Coventry Building Society Arena?
In the South Stand, behind the south goal. The club says visiting supporters are often in blocks 6-9, with safe standing in blocks 6 and 7, rows AA to XX, and Car Park C is the nearest paid parking to that stand. The loudest home fans gather in Singers' Corner, the East Stand corner beside the away end.
What was the Coventry Building Society Arena called before?
It was the Ricoh Arena from its opening in 2005 until 2021, and it is now often shortened to CBS Arena. Coventry City have played their home matches there since 2005, and the complex also includes a separate indoor arena, formerly an exhibition hall, used for some shows.
