Dortmund's own fixture data fixes the game for Saturday 22 May 2027 at 3.30pm, and it is marked as scheduled rather than provisional. It is the final Bundesliga matchday, when all games kick off at the same time, so the slot will not move to suit a single broadcast. Germany is one hour ahead of the UK, making it a 2.30pm start in Britain.
Some resale listings have shown the match at 9pm; go by the club fixture data.
No UK broadcaster is named for this match in our information. With the whole league playing at once, check the Bundesliga's UK rights holder for which game it carries closer to the day.

How to get Freiburg v Borussia Dortmund tickets
Freiburg list every home game and its sale phases on their "Heimtickets" page. Dortmund has no sale date yet, but the steps are the same for each match.
- Members first. SC Freiburg members and members of the Förderverein get an exclusive purchase right lasting at least a week.
- The Joker phase. That members' window opens with a "Joker" phase at 9.30am lasting 90 minutes, followed by the regular members' sale from midday.
- Free sale, if anything is left. Only then, and only if seats remain, do Freiburg open a free sale, announced through the club's ticket newsletter. It is rare, so do not count on it for a visit from Dortmund.
For a sense of timing, members' sales for Bayern began on 24 September, and for Twente and Leipzig on 8 October.
Tickets are sold in the club's online shop, through a Reservix call centre and at Reservix outlets. If a first buyer cannot go, they can resell through Freiburg's official Ticketzweitmarkt, which is worth checking once the game is sold.
BVB supporters should start with their own club for away tickets; see Borussia Dortmund tickets. For the wider league, our Bundesliga tickets page lists other fixtures. Hellotickets lists resale seats now; sellers set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay.
Good to know before you go
- Same time as every other gameOn the final matchday all Bundesliga games start together at 3.30pm local time. Ignore listings showing a 9pm kick-off.
- Join before the phases startFreiburg's exclusive members' window lasts at least a week and opens with a 90-minute Joker phase, so membership must be in place beforehand.
- Sign up for the ticket newsletterAny free sale for non-members is announced through Freiburg's ticket newsletter, the only place you will hear about it in time.
- Away box office on the dayReturned Dortmund tickets are sold at the away-fans box office from two hours before kick-off, a last-minute option for travelling BVB fans.
Where to sit at Europa-Park Stadium
We do not hold a sourced plan of the Europa-Park Stadium, so this section stays with what the listings and the club rule say.
Two named stands appear in the resale table: the Nordtribüne (North Stand) and the Osttribüne (East Stand). The first listing, though, is a seller's-choice ticket, marked as a section not specified by the seller, which means you buy a place without knowing the block in advance.
For Dortmund supporters, Freiburg run a dedicated away-fans box office that opens two hours before kick-off and sells visitor tickets returned by the away club. It is a matchday option rather than something you can plan around, but it is the club's own route into the away section.
