The match is fixed for Thursday 17 December 2026 at 9pm in Amsterdam, at the Johan Cruijff Arena. The Netherlands is one hour ahead of the UK in December, so kick-off is 8pm UK time.
It is one of Ajax's three Conference League league-phase home games. No UK channel is named in the fixture information; the competition's broadcast partners publish their choices for each matchday. For UK fans, Amsterdam is an easy trip, but a 9pm start a week before Christmas still means planning a night's stay.

How to get Ajax v Getafe tickets
Ajax sell most games through a queue of purchase rights, and every buyer needs a verified account at mijn.ajax.nl.
- Season ticket holders come first. About 42,000 renewed for 2026/27, and no new season tickets were sold.
- Supportersvereniging Ajax members are next in line.
- Club Card holders follow.
- A free sale takes place only if anything is left, which is rare.
For Getafe, everything has gone. On 5 November the club's Conference League page showed regular tickets, F-side seats and places for disabled supporters all sold out, with one route still open: Ajax Resale, where passe-partout holders and single-ticket buyers offer seats they cannot use, which then reach the ticket shop for fans with the right purchase right. Tickets are mobile, held in the Ajax app, and can be shared up to three times.
Without an Ajax purchase right, resale is the route. Seats listed on Hellotickets are priced by their sellers, can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. More on the club is on Ajax tickets.

Where to sit at Johan Cruijff Arena
We have no sourced stand plan of the Johan Cruijff Arena, so this section reads the resale labels. The ground is listed in tiers: Lower Tier and Upper Tier, with Shortside (behind a goal) and Longside (along a touchline) versions of each. Tweede Ring Korte Zijde is Dutch for second ring, short side, so behind a goal on the upper ring. Central Longside Lower is close to halfway in the lower tier, and Field Seats are pitch-level places.
Away fans' sales are set game by game, depending on the opponent and the local authorities, so Getafe supporters should follow their own club; see Getafe tickets. No away section appears in the resale data.
