Ajax tickets 2026/27
Verified accounts, purchase rights and Ajax Resale: how Ajax sell Johan Cruijff Arena tickets, with resale prices for each home game.

Ajax sell most home games through a queue of purchase rights rather than an open sale. Season ticket holders buy first, then members of the Supportersvereniging Ajax, then Club Card holders, and only what is left reaches a free sale, which is rare. You need a verified Ajax account to take part at all.

How to get Ajax tickets
How to buy Ajax tickets (official route)
1. Create and verify your Ajax account
Every club sale runs through the Ajax ticket shop at tickets.ajax.nl, with your account managed at mijn.ajax.nl. For most games Ajax sell only to verified account holders who have a right to buy, so an unverified account leaves you outside the queue.
2. Know your place in the queue
Purchase rights follow a fixed order. Season ticket holders come first: 42,000 of them renewed for 2026/27, and no new season tickets were sold for this season. Members of the Supportersvereniging Ajax, the supporters' association, are next, ahead of Club Card holders. Whatever those groups leave goes into a free sale open to everyone, and at Ajax that rarely happens.
3. Conference League home games
Ajax's European nights this season are in the Conference League rather than the Champions League, which has its own European cup page. For each of the three league-phase home games, the club's Conference League page shows four lines: regular tickets, the official Resale, F-side seats and places for disabled supporters. Each line has its own state, so a match can be sold out in the regular sale while F-side seats or resale tickets are still available.
4. Ajax Resale
Since the league phase, Ajax Resale has also covered European home games. Passe-partout holders and buyers of single tickets can offer a ticket they cannot use, and those tickets reach the ticket shop after the single-ticket sale, for Ajax fans with the right purchase right. It was shown as open for every Conference League home game.
5. Mobile tickets
Tickets bought from the club are mobile, held in the Ajax app, and each can be shared up to three times.
Ajax resale tickets: what to expect, stand by stand
Because so little reaches the free sale, the resale market is where non-members end up looking. For Ajax v Getafe tickets, listings on Hellotickets open in the upper tier, with the upper level along the touchline and behind the goals close behind. The lower tier sits higher, the lower level along the touchline higher again, and "Field Seats" come near the top of the range. Hospitality packages are listed apart.
Some sellers use the arena's Dutch labels: "Tweede Ring Korte Zijde" means the second ring on the short side, behind a goal.
Ajax point supporters to Ajax Resale for returned tickets, and club tickets are held in the Ajax app, so read how and when a listing will be delivered. Sellers on Hellotickets set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. If you hold a purchase right and F-side seats or Ajax Resale tickets are open to you, the club route will usually cost less.
Johan Cruijff Arena: stands, seating and getting there
On resale listings, the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam is split into a lower and an upper tier, along the sides and at the ends:
- Longside seats run along the touchlines, and "Central Longside" means close to the halfway line.
- Shortside seats are behind a goal, at either end.
- Field Seats are listed on their own, apart from the two tiers.
At the club, Ajax list F-side seats separately from regular tickets, together with places for disabled supporters, and F-side seats can still be on sale after the regular tickets have gone, as they were for Getafe. Check those lines on the club's Conference League page before turning to resale, especially if you need an accessible place.
Getafe's visit kicks off at 9pm in Amsterdam, which is 8pm in the UK, so allow for the hour's difference when you book flights or trains home. A club ticket lives in the Ajax app; for a resale ticket, Hellotickets sends it as soon as it receives it from the seller, sometimes up to 1–2 days before the event, so keep your order confirmation to hand.
Ajax away tickets
For their own away games, Ajax publish the sale details of each match only once they are available, and what is offered depends on the opponent and on the local authorities. There is no single rule for the season, so a trip to one ground can be organised quite differently from the next: wait for the club's announcement for each game before you book travel.
Frequently asked questions
How much are Ajax tickets?
At the club, tickets are sold through the Ajax ticket shop, tickets.ajax.nl, to verified account holders with a right to buy. On the resale market, seats listed on Hellotickets start from £121 (checked 5 Nov 2026): upper-tier seats open the range, the lower tier sits higher, and field seats and hospitality are at the top. Sellers set their own prices, and the final price is shown before you pay.
Can I buy Ajax tickets without a membership?
Rarely from the club. Ajax sell most games only to verified account holders with a right to buy: season ticket holders first, then Supportersvereniging Ajax members, then Club Card holders. Only what is left goes to a free sale open to everyone, and that is rare. Without one of those rights, the alternative is resale, where sellers set their own prices and the final price is shown before you pay.
Is it hard to get Ajax tickets?
Yes, for most matches. Ajax renewed 42,000 season tickets for 2026/27 and sold no new ones, and season ticket holders buy single tickets before members and Club Card holders; a free sale is rare. For the Conference League visit of Getafe, regular tickets were sold out in October 2026, with F-side seats and Ajax Resale still open.
What is Ajax Resale?
It is the club's own resale platform. Passe-partout holders and buyers of single tickets can offer a ticket they cannot use, and since the Conference League league phase it covers European home games too. Offered tickets reach the ticket shop after the single-ticket sale, for Ajax fans with the right purchase right, and it was shown as open for every Conference League home game.
Can I buy an Ajax season ticket?
Not for 2026/27. Ajax renewed 42,000 season tickets and sold no new ones for this season. Season ticket holders also come first in the queue for single tickets and can offer seats they cannot use on Ajax Resale. For everyone else, the routes are membership of the Supportersvereniging Ajax, a Club Card or the rare free sale.
When do Ajax play Getafe?
Ajax v Getafe is a Conference League league-phase match at the Johan Cruijff Arena on Thursday 17 December 2026, kicking off at 9pm in Amsterdam, which is 8pm in the UK. Regular tickets were sold out at the club in October 2026, while F-side seats were still shown as available and Ajax Resale was open.
