Four stands make up the bowl, and each suits a different kind of fan:
- Roker End (South Stand): behind the south goal, the home singing end.
- North Stand: two tiers behind the north goal. Hull City's supporters will be in the upper tier, a placement the Premier League has approved for this season only.
- Jimmy Montgomery Stand (West Stand): the main stand on the west touchline, with the Premier Concourse and executive boxes in its upper tier.
- East Stand: along the east touchline. Reference sources place the Family Zone in its corner with the Roker End, not confirmed by the club for 2026/27.
Hellotickets groups seats as "Longside" (touchline), "Central Longside" (near halfway) and "Shortside" (behind a goal). Away-section listings are in the North Stand Upper with the Hull fans. The Stadium of Light seating plan has the full layout.
Frequently asked questions
How much are Sunderland v Hull City tickets?
Sunderland had not given this match a price category at the last check. The club's 2026/27 bulletins put adult Category A tickets from £39, and a Black Cats membership is needed for the ballot. Resale seats on Hellotickets start at £95 in the Longside section (checked 5 Nov 2026), with sellers setting their own prices.
Can I buy Sunderland v Hull City tickets without being a member?
Not from the club at first: the ballot is limited to Black Cats Adult and Academy Members, with adult membership at £48 a season. Any tickets left after the draw go on general sale to everyone at 3pm on Tuesday 24 November. Resale listings on Hellotickets need no membership and show the final price before you pay.

How can I buy Sunderland tickets?
The club sells home matches through ballots for Black Cats Adult and Academy Members. Members opt in to each game during a two-day window that appears in the weekly ticket news, and results arrive by email from 4pm the day after. Seats left after a draw can go to a later phase, and resale listings are the alternative.
Is Sunderland v Hull City on TV?
Not live in the UK, as things stand. The match kicks off at 3pm on Saturday 2 January 2027, and Premier League games kicking off at 3pm on a Saturday are not broadcast live in the UK. If the fixture were moved to a televised slot, the Premier League and the club would publish the new time.
Where do Hull City fans sit at the Stadium of Light?
Hull City's supporters will be high up in the North Stand Upper, behind the north goal, using turnstiles 69-74. The Premier League has approved that location for 2026/27 as a one-season dispensation. The Roker End, at the opposite end of the ground, is the home singing section.
