Roma v Napoli: date, kick-off and how to watch
Roma v Napoli, the meeting of the capital and the south known as the Derby del Sole, is listed by Roma for Sunday 2 May 2027 at the Stadio Olimpico. The date and time are both TBC, so the Sunday is provisional until Lega Serie A sets that round.
Club sale: not on sale yet at the official seller.
On Hellotickets, seats start at £123 in the Distinti Nord Est (checked 5 Nov 2026).
Roma's single public release, with no member priority, means the weeks before the sale matter more than anything you can do today.

Roma's men's tickets page lists the game as "Sun 2 May, date and time TBC". Until the league publishes the slot, neither the day within that weekend nor the kick-off is fixed. When it is, Rome will be one hour ahead of the UK.
The venue is the Stadio Olimpico, in the Foro Italico in north-west Rome, beneath Monte Mario. UK broadcast picks for Serie A are announced closer to the date, and no channel is known for this match yet.
Official ticketing
Not on sale yet ('Notify Availability' only). Serie A: Sun 2 May, date and time TBC.
How to get Roma v Napoli tickets
The club sale
Roma sell through asroma.com alone. For Napoli there is nothing to buy yet: the match carries the "Notify Availability" button that appears on every Roma fixture until sale terms are published. This season's releases came about four weeks before kick-off (Cagliari opened on 25 September for 27 October, Sassuolo on 9 October for 7 November), which would put this one in early April.
When it opens, all buyers get access together. There is no membership tier, no ballot and no loyalty points; the AS Roma Card is only used for away tickets. You can buy four tickets per transaction, all digital, held in the Il Mio Posto app. Plus season-ticket holders have an extra-ticket price of their own, and VIP hospitality has normally been released before ordinary seats.
After the release
Season-ticket holders resell seats through Il Mio Posto, listed on asroma.com until 24 hours before kick-off; the seller is credited 51% of face value. If the club sale is still open, it is usually cheaper than resale. Seats listed on Hellotickets come from sellers who set their own prices, and the final price is shown before you pay. For Napoli's own fixtures, see Napoli tickets; Roma's run of home dates is on Roma tickets.
Good to know before you go
- Keep away from the north-westThe Distinti Nord Ovest is Napoli's away sector. Neutrals and Roma fans should check the corner named on any Distinti listing before paying.
- Ticket plus IDEntry needs your ticket and a valid identity document. Digital tickets do not need printing, but bring a charged phone, since power banks are refused.
- Early-April alertOn Roma's four-week pattern the sale opens around early April; leave the Notify Availability alert switched on and check the match page regularly from late March.
- Leave the car at the hotelThe car parks around the Olimpico are for pass holders only. ATAC buses 168, 280, 301, 32, 628 and 69 all stop at the stadium.
Where to sit at Stadio Olimpico
Napoli's supporters are allocated the Distinti Nord Ovest, Roma's away sector in the north-west corner beside the Tribuna Monte Mario. Resale for this game starts in the opposite north corner, the Distinti Nord Est, on the Tevere side. That is a corner seat, not part of the away section, but listings marked only "Distinti" can be either.
For the home atmosphere, the Curva Sud behind the south goal is Roma's end; the Curva Nord is at the other end. The Tribuna Tevere on the east touchline has Parterre and Top sections, and the Tribuna Monte Mario on the west is the main stand. "Tribuna Monte Maria Top" is a seller's misspelling of the Monte Mario upper tier, and "Corporate Seatings - Onore" are hospitality places in the centre of the main stand. The athletics track puts some distance between every seat and the pitch.
