Offers start with Longside from £89. The recorded Shortside entry price is level with Longside, so this comparison does not support a blanket premium for either location. Keep the club's published advance tariff separate from resale asks, and compare the section details as well as the payment total.

QPR v Birmingham City: date, kick-off and how to watch

Planning for QPR v Birmingham City starts with a sale announcement that is still outstanding. The Championship fixture is scheduled at MATRADE Loftus Road Stadium on Saturday 16 January 2027, but QPR have not released buying dates for their 2027 home games.

The recorded club status is not on sale yet at the official seller, checked 5 Nov 2026. Resale listings on Hellotickets begin at £89 in Longside, checked 5 Nov 2026. An unopened club sale is different from a sold-out match: membership gives priority under QPR's normal process, rather than an immediate purchase for Birmingham.

The club fixture information gives a 3pm UK kick-off on Saturday 16 January 2027. Birmingham City visit Loftus Road in Shepherd's Bush, London, for this Championship match. Check QPR's schedule again when arranging travel so that your plans match the club's published time.

A television channel has not been supplied for the game. UK coverage details come from the broadcasters' confirmed selections; the Saturday listing alone does not identify where you can watch.

How to get QPR v Birmingham City tickets

QPR's home fixtures in 2026 were released to members on 4 August 2026. Birmingham City's January visit was not included in that release. Neither its priority opening nor its general-sale date has been announced.

Prepare for priority. Hoops Members and season ticket holders normally buy first. Adult membership is £41 including postage and packing; juniors pay £30. The membership allowance is up to six tickets per home league game, subject to the sale opening.
Await the public phase. General sale follows the members' window under QPR's usual process. Check the Birmingham fixture notice for the actual dates instead of applying the calendar of a 2026 match.
Check official returns separately. QPR's Ticket Exchange uses Ticketmaster to handle season ticket holders' seats. It has no published opening for Birmingham in the information available here.

The club's season tariff starts at £24 for adult advance seats in Blue areas, or £21 for Hoops Members, with a £3.50 online booking fee. These prices do not mean the match is already on sale. Our QPR tickets hub and QPR season ticket guide cover the wider home programme.

Hellotickets offers resale comparisons, with sellers setting amounts that may exceed face value. Read the delivery arrangements, final payment total and restrictions on transferring club tickets before deciding.

Good to know before you go

Do not confuse the salesThe members' release on 4 August 2026 covered that calendar year's home games. Birmingham City's January fixture needs its own sale announcement.
Plan without stadium parkingParking nearby is very limited and road closures begin 90 minutes before kick-off. Check an Underground route through White City or Wood Lane.
Choose the right type of blockFor safe standing, the club plan identifies lower Loft blocks ML, NL and PL plus Block R in the Stanley Bowles Stand.
Bring a small loadBags are discouraged and all are searched. Large baggage is refused, so arrange somewhere else for luggage before arriving at Loftus Road.

Where to sit at Loftus Road Stadium

Birmingham supporters should look to their own club for the upper School End, the visiting section behind the west goal. The lower School End normally houses home fans in league games, so an end name without a tier is not enough to choose safely.

QPR's Loft stands behind the east goal. Its upper tier is for members, while lower family blocks HL, JL, KL and LL require a junior in each group. Safe-standing blocks are also present in the lower Loft.

Along the sides, the Bhatia Stand has paddocks and an upper tier on South Africa Road. The Stanley Bowles Stand is the single-tier Ellerslie Road side. These are Longside positions in resale terminology; Shortside describes the goal ends. Ask what block a broad zone actually covers before purchasing.
