Marseille v Rennes: date, kick-off and how to watch

Rennes come down from Brittany for a Ligue 1 fixture at the Stade Vélodrome that ticket listings place on Saturday 27 February 2027. Nothing about the slot is official yet: the date is provisional and no kick-off has been set. OM have not opened a sale either, and if the date holds their usual timing would put the members' priority days in the second half of January.

Club status: not on sale yet at the official seller, as of 5 Nov 2026.

Hellotickets has seats from £93 in Ganay LAT (checked 5 Nov 2026).

The working date is Saturday 27 February 2027, with kick-off TBC. It comes from the resale market, not from Ligue 1, which will confirm the day and time of the round later.

Television follows the schedule: UK broadcasters confirm their picks only once the round is fixed, so there is no channel to name yet. The game will be at the Stade Vélodrome, officially the CEPAC Vélodrome since 2 July 2026, in Marseille's 8th arrondissement.

Official ticketing

Not on sale yet at the clubchecked 5 Nov

No sale announced yet; OM opens sales, members first, usually 4 to 7 weeks before the match.

  • Members' priority phases then general public (not yet announced) · to come

Membership: Peuple Bleu&Blanc Essential (Free tier at no cost; Gold EUR 59 and Platinum EUR 149 a season), EUR 25 per season (Essential).

How to get Marseille v Rennes tickets

The only official seller is OM, at billetterie.om.fr. The club posts each sale in the news section of om.fr, and recent sales went live between 32 and 48 days before the match.

Once announced, the order is fixed. Day one belongs to the Platinum and Gold tiers of Peuple Bleu&Blanc, who buy at a preferential price; day two to Essential members; day three onwards to the general public. Every step runs through a Queue-it waiting room.

Is joining worth it for one game? Essential costs EUR 25 a season and buys you a day's head start; Gold (EUR 59) and Platinum (EUR 149) add the first day and the member price, but both have limited places. A free tier lets you register without a priority window. Members also have the club's resale platform for sold-out games and access to the Tribune Famille.

Outside the club, Hellotickets already lists seats for this game. Sellers choose their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay; the OM sale, when it opens, is generally cheaper. The visitors' fixtures are on Rennes tickets, and a fortnight later Monaco are due in town (Marseille v Monaco tickets).

Good to know before you go

  • Register earlyEven the free tier of Peuple Bleu&Blanc gets you an account ready before the sale; Essential at EUR 25 adds a day's priority.
  • Keep plans flexibleThe Saturday date is provisional, so choose refundable travel until the official Ligue 1 schedule is published.
  • Metro, not carParking near the Vélodrome is scarce: take metro M2, which runs direct from Marseille Saint-Charles, or use a Park-and-Ride.
  • Collect with IDIf you pick up tickets at an OM ticket office, bring identification, as the club asks for it.

Where to sit at Stade Vélodrome

The resale seats for Rennes split between the two long stands. The Tribune Ganay, reached from the Parvis Ganay on rue Raymond Teisseire, has lateral, central and upper ("SUP") listings. The Tribune Jean Bouin, along Boulevard Michelet, has upper ("Supérieur"), lateral and central ones.

A lateral seat puts you towards a corner; a central one gives the view across halfway. The Virage Nord - Patrice de Peretti and Virage Sud - Chevalier Roze, behind the goals, are not listed. OM publish no away-section location, so Rennes supporters should check with their own club.
