At a glance

  • OVO Arena Wembley, often still called Wembley Arena, has a 12,500 capacity. Each night's crowd varies with the stage and the floor layout.
  • Blocks A to D are on the floor at seated shows. N and S are the side blocks, and Block E is the East Terrace, which has high rows.
  • In the N and S blocks, even numbers are on the lower tier and odd numbers on the upper tier. So N4 is lower and N5 is upper.
  • Children aged 13 or under must not go on the standing floor. The floor is 14 steps down from the main walkways, called concourses.
  • Backpacks are banned and there is no cloakroom. Wembley Park station, on the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines, is a 10-minute walk away.

  1. Floor, or Blocks A and B: Standing or seated, depending on the show. Flat, and 14 steps down.
  2. Blocks C and D: Seated shows only. Slightly raked behind Blocks A and B.
  3. N and S blocks, lower tier: Even-numbered blocks along the north and south sides.
  4. N and S blocks, upper tier: Odd-numbered blocks. High rows with plenty of steps.
  5. Block E, East Terrace: High rows at the east end. Check you are fine with heights.

Simple plan, not to scale.

The OVO Arena Wembley seating plan has a flat floor by the stage, tiered N and S blocks along both sides, and Block E, the East Terrace. The north-west London arena, often still called Wembley Arena, holds 12,500 people. For most first-timers, a lower-tier side block near the stage is the safest buy.

Every show at the arena has its own ticket page, linked in the list of who is playing further down. To compare other buildings, start with the UK venues page.

How does the OVO Arena Wembley seating plan work?

The OVO Arena Wembley seating plan works by block, row and seat, and a seated ticket shows all three. A block is a named section of seats, such as N5, and each block holds several lettered rows. The seated blocks stay put, but the floor changes from one show to the next.

OVO Arena Wembley is a concert arena at Arena Square, Engineers Way, Wembley Park, HA9 0AA, next to Wembley Stadium. It has a 12,500 capacity and hosts over 120 shows a year, the venue says.

Area Blocks What it is like Watch out for
Standing floor None, so no numbered spots The closest you can get to the stage Not for children aged 13 or under. It is 14 steps down from the concourse, the walkway around the seats
Seated floor, front A and B Flat rows that are not raised People near you may stand during the show
Seated floor, back C and D Slightly raked, which means gently sloped, behind A and B No level access
Side seats, lower tier Even-numbered N and S blocks Tiered rows along the north and south sides You see the stage at an angle, so check where it is built
Side seats, upper tier Odd-numbered N and S blocks Tiered rows that climb higher The venue says high rows may not suit people who struggle with steps or heights
East Terrace E High rows at the east end The venue asks you to be sure you are fine with heights and steps

What do the block letters and numbers mean?

The letter tells you the area. N means the north side, S means the south side and E means the East Terrace. At a seated show, A to D are the floor blocks.

The number tells you the tier in the N and S blocks. The venue says even-numbered blocks are on the lower tier and odd-numbered blocks are on the upper tier. So N4 is on the lower tier, and N5 is on the upper tier.

Rows are letters. The venue’s hearing-loop list mentions rows A to H and J to R in the side blocks, and rows A to O in Block E3.

Is OVO Arena Wembley the same as Wembley Arena?

Yes. OVO Arena Wembley and Wembley Arena are the same building, so a Wembley Arena seating plan shows this venue. It opened as the Empire Pool in July 1934 and was the SSE Arena Wembley from 2014 to 2022.

It is not Wembley Stadium, which is a separate venue next door. It also has no link with the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, which has its own OVO Hydro seating plan.

Where are the best seats at OVO Arena Wembley?

The best seats at OVO Arena Wembley for most people are in the lower-tier N and S blocks, as near the stage as your budget allows. You sit above the floor crowd, in your own seat, all night. The stage position can change, so find it on your show’s plan before you choose.

  • Best for being close: the standing floor, if your date has one.
  • Best close seat: Blocks A and B. These suit taller adults, because the rows are flat and people near you may stand.
  • Best raised view: the even-numbered N and S blocks nearest the stage on your plan.
  • Best for comfort: Empire Seats, in the lower rows of N5, N7 and N9. The venue says they are extra-wide, close to the stage and have a cupholder.
  • Best for seeing the whole production: the upper tier or Block E, if heights do not bother you.
  • Best for sound: a seat that looks at the stage from the front, not from right beside it.
  • Best for a tight budget: compare block prices on the seat map, because each show sets its own.

Standard seats have a base 378mm wide, the venue’s FAQs say. Some seats may be sold as restricted view, which means part of the artist, show or production is hidden. The venue labels any seat sold this way, so read the label before you pay.

How can you see the view from your seat at OVO Arena Wembley?

To see the view from your seat at OVO Arena Wembley, use the seating plan on AXS, the arena’s official ticketing partner. The arena’s FAQs say each event has a plan behind its Buy Tickets button. The OVO Arena Wembley venue app also has an arena map and a seating plan.

  1. Open your show on the arena’s website or in the app, then press Find Tickets.
  2. Find the stage on the arena map, then pick your preferred area.
  3. Click the dots to choose your seats, and read any label before you go to the checkout.
  4. Look at fans’ photos last. Searching “Wembley Arena view from my seat” brings up sites such as A View From My Seat, but the stage in a photo may differ from yours.

Is the floor at OVO Arena Wembley standing or seated?

The floor at OVO Arena Wembley is standing or seated, depending on the show, so check the event page before you buy. A standing ticket means general admission: you stand on the floor with no numbered spot. At a seated show, the floor uses Blocks A, B, C and D.

  • Age limit: children aged 13 or under must not go on the standing floor.
  • Walking aids: crutches, walking sticks and protective boots are allowed in the seats, but not in the standing area.
  • Early entry: the foyer typically opens 1 hour before general admission doors, but neither a standing ticket nor a lounge pass gets you onto the floor early.
  • Drinks bottles: at standing events, all reusable bottles are banned, wherever you sit or stand.

What premium seats and lounges does OVO Arena Wembley have?

Premium seats at OVO Arena Wembley are Empire Seats, VIP Seats, Club Seats and Terrace Suites. Premium means a ticket with extras such as a lounge or food. Ticketmaster is the arena’s official premium ticketing partner, so use the Buy Premium button on the show’s page.

Option Where What you get
Empire Seats Lower rows of N5, N7 and N9 Extra-wide seats close to the stage, with a cupholder
VIP Seats Lower tier, north side Green Room access and a private bar
Club Seats In front of the lower tiered seats, north or south Legends Lounge pass (north) or Heroes Lounge pass (south), one drink and one food item
Terrace Suites Suites named S4, S8 and S10 12, 8 or 10 seats, Premium Entrance, food and drink

A lounge pass on its own is an upgrade, so you still need a ticket for the show. These packages work best for a special occasion. The floor is still closer to the stage, if that is all you want.

How much are OVO Arena Wembley tickets?

OVO Arena Wembley tickets have no fixed price list: each show sets its own prices for the floor, the side blocks and Block E. The seat map on your booking page gives the price for each area. Bookings can include a venue facility fee, which the arena says it reinvests in its services.

Water from the dispensers on the concourses is free.

What accessible seating does OVO Arena Wembley have?

OVO Arena Wembley has wheelchair spaces in the main hall, seats for ambulant guests who can walk but need fewer steps, and spaces for a personal assistant. The dedicated bays have level access from the entrances, or a public lift from the foyer doors. The tiered seating has no step-free access, and neither do Blocks A to D.

Book online through AXS or call 020 8782 5629, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm. To book online, you need an Access Card, also called a Nimbus Card, which tells venues what support you need.

  • Free personal assistant ticket: send your proof within 5 days of booking, and no later than 2 weeks before the event.
  • Hearing: an infra-red system covers N4 to N12 and S4 to S12 rows A to H, and N3 to N9 and S3 to S9 rows J to R. It also covers E3 rows A to O and E4 rows J to O. Reception lends receivers for a refundable deposit.
  • Toilets: three accessible toilets stand on each main concourse, no more than 40m from the wheelchair platforms. An Adult Changing Space is off the foyer.
  • Sign language: ask at least 28 days before the event.

Bringing children to OVO Arena Wembley?

  • Tickets: all children and infants over the age of 2 need one, unless the event says otherwise.
  • Adults: unless stated, anyone aged 14 or under must be with an adult.
  • Pushchairs: a buggy park runs only at children’s shows, and the venue suggests leaving them at home.
  • Collecting teenagers: parents cannot wait inside as the show ends, so meet on Arena Square.

How do you get to OVO Arena Wembley?

The easiest way to get to OVO Arena Wembley is the Tube to Wembley Park, on the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines, a 10-minute walk away. Wembley Central, on the Bakerloo line and London Overground, is a 15-minute walk. Chiltern Railways also runs from London Marylebone to Wembley Stadium station.

  • Is the stadium busy? Arena events can clash with Wembley Stadium events or rush hour, so check Transport for London before you set off.
  • Travelling from outside London? Events finish no later than the curfew, the latest finish time on the event page. Use it to check your last train home.
  • Coming from abroad? If your tickets will not show in the app, connect to wi-fi once you reach the UK.

What time should you arrive at OVO Arena Wembley, and what can you bring?

Arrive at OVO Arena Wembley as early as you can before the doors time on the event page, because the venue does not list stage times. The event page shows doors, start and curfew times once they are known.

  • Your ticket: show it in the venue app. Screenshots are not accepted, because the barcode changes every 59 seconds.
  • Bags: backpacks and rucksacks are banned, and so is any bag larger than 30cm wide x 40cm long x 20cm deep, about A3 size.
  • Food and drink: the safety page says none from outside without a medical reason, though the FAQs allow sweets.
  • Paying: the bars and food stands are cashless, and there are no cash machines. Merchandise can be paid for by cash or card.
  • Running late? The front foyer stays open, but you may have to wait for a break in the show.

What mistakes should you avoid at OVO Arena Wembley?

The main mistakes at OVO Arena Wembley are bringing a backpack, booking high rows without thinking about heights, and leaving the building for a cigarette, because there is no readmission. Two others catch people out:

  • Relying on the lockers: items in the e-lockers, which you hire inside, must still meet the bag policy. For anything bigger, the venue points you to Stasher, a service that finds bag storage nearby.
  • Keeping every ticket on one phone: use Transfer in the app to send each friend their own ticket.
