At a glance
- Leeds United sells Elland Road tickets only to My Leeds members, one ticket each. There is no general sale, and a membership does not promise a ticket.
- My Leeds costs £50 for adults and £30 for under-16s in 2026/27. My Leeds+ costs £75 and £45. Members on auto-renewal pay less.
- About 7,500 seats go on sale per home league game: 11.3% to Priority members, 35.6% to a Tracker ballot for regular buyers, 53.1% to a general ballot.
- The club says home ballots averaged a 50% success rate across 2025/26, with 96% for Crystal Palace and 68% for Burnley.
- My Leeds+ gives no edge in the ballots. It gives first access to seats handed back on the Ticket Exchange, one day ahead for the Spurs game.
A Leeds membership is the paid yearly plan you need to buy a ticket for Elland Road. The My Leeds tier costs £50 for an adult in 2026/27, or £30 for an under-16, and My Leeds+ costs £75. Leeds United sells home tickets only to members, one each, and there is no public sale.
Every home game, with its sale status, is on the Leeds tickets page.
What is a Leeds United membership?
A Leeds United membership, called My Leeds, is a plan you pay for once a season that gives you the right to apply for tickets. Leeds United is a Premier League football club, the top division in England. Its home is Elland Road in Leeds, a stadium that holds 37,633 people, according to the Premier League Handbook for 2026/27.
Leeds has no general sale, meaning no sale open to everyone. The club’s ticket policy says tickets are only for current My Leeds members, and that a membership does not promise you a ticket. That is because most seats go through a ballot, a free prize draw: you enter, and if your name comes up you get a seat.
A season ticket is different: one payment for your own seat at every home league game, reached only through a waiting list. The Leeds season ticket guide explains that route.
How much is a Leeds United membership?
A Leeds United membership costs £50 for an adult and £30 for an under-16 on My Leeds in 2026/27, or £75 and £45 on My Leeds+. Those are the prices for new members in the club’s membership notice. The club kept them the same as the 2025/26 rates.
| Tier | Adult, new member | Adult, auto-renewal | Under-16, new member | Under-16, auto-renewal |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| My Leeds | £50 | £45 | £30 | £25 |
| My Leeds+ | £75 | £70 | £45 | £40 |
| My Leeds Priority | As My Leeds+ | As My Leeds+ | As My Leeds+ | As My Leeds+ |
Auto-renewal means the club renews your plan each year without a new application. If you pay by card, you join it automatically. You can opt out at any time under Memberships in My Account, your online ticket account.
So a membership is one payment for one season, not a monthly fee. The club’s notices list no lower price for joining later in the season.
What do Leeds match tickets cost on top of a membership?
Leeds match tickets cost extra, because a membership only gives you the right to apply. Each game sits in a category, a price band set by the club: A+, A or B. These are the lowest adult prices, and each one includes a £1.50 booking fee.
| Category | Family Stand, adults from | North and South Stands, adults from | Example this season |
|---|---|---|---|
| A+ | £46.50 | £56.50 | Leeds v Tottenham |
| A | £40.50 | £48.50 | Leeds v Brentford |
| B | £35.50 | £37.50 | Not named yet in the sales announced |
The club has four price types: adult, concession, youth aged 16 to 18 and under-16. A concession is a lower price, here for seniors aged 65 and over and young adults aged 19 to 22. Pick the type that fits your age on the day of the match.
What do you get with a Leeds United membership?
A Leeds United membership gets you into the home and away ticket sales, plus a gift and some club extras. The club’s notice for 2026/27 also lists these:
- Away tickets: your own members’ ballot for away games.
- Ticket Exchange: the club’s own service for reselling seats that season ticket holders hand back.
- Ticket Forwarding: a way to pass your ticket to a friend who is also a member, if you cannot go.
- Extras: a gift, a digital membership card, club videos on LUTV and members’ events.
- For children: Junior Members aged 5 to 12 can get the chance to walk out with the team. Junior Leeds covers ages 2 to 10, and Teen Leeds covers 11 to 15.
The tiers differ only in how early you reach the seats:
| Tier | Way into home sales | Ticket Exchange |
|---|---|---|
| My Leeds | General members’ ballot, plus the Tracker ballot, a draw for regular buyers, if you qualify | Second in line |
| My Leeds+ | The same two ballots | First in line |
| My Leeds Priority | Its own first come, first served sale, then the ballots if needed | First in line |
The ballots treat My Leeds and My Leeds+ members the same. So My Leeds+ only buys a head start on returned seats. For the Spurs game, that head start was one day.
What is My Leeds Priority membership?
My Leeds Priority is the tier that buys first, from its own share of seats, and its members choose their seats online. The club says Priority prices match My Leeds+.
The club’s 2026/27 notices do not say how to join Priority. Ask the Ticket Office on 0371 334 1992 before you plan around it.
What is a Leeds United gold membership?
Gold is not a tier on the club’s 2026/27 list, which names My Leeds, My Leeds+ and My Leeds Priority.
How does a Leeds home ticket sale work?
A Leeds home ticket sale runs in six phases, starting about three to four weeks before the game. The club posts the dates on its ticketing news page. About 7,500 general admission seats, meaning normal seats without food or a lounge, are on offer per home league game.
Here is the real timetable for Leeds v Tottenham on Saturday 7 November 2026, a Category A+ game:
- Priority sale, 11.3% of seats. Priority members bought first, from 1pm on Monday 19 October.
- Tracker ballot, 35.6%. This draw is for members of any tier who bought 11 or more home games, league and cup, in 2025/26. Free tickets do not count, and each entry has a 50% chance. Entries ran on Tuesday 20 October, and winners picked seats on Wednesday 21 October.
- General members’ ballot, 53.1%. Any member without a ticket could enter, from 10am to midnight on Thursday 22 October. Winners heard by midday on Friday 23 October.
- Car parking. Registered disabled supporters could book from 3pm on Friday 23 October, and other ticket holders from 10.30am on Monday 26 October.
- Ticket Exchange. Returned seats went to Priority and My Leeds+ members at 10.30am on Thursday 29 October, then to all members at 10.30am on Friday 30 October. They only show once all other general admission seats have sold.
- Ticket Forwarding. It opened at 9am on Monday 2 November, the week of the game.
Do not assume a Monday start. For the first home game, Brentford on Sunday 30 August, the Priority sale fell on a Friday. Take the dates from each announcement.
In the general ballot you do not pick your seat. The system gives you one in the stand you prefer if it can, then charges the card of the lead applicant, the person who made the entry. If no email comes, you did not win.
How many games can you see with a Leeds membership?
A Leeds membership has no set number of games, because each home game is a separate draw. The club says home ballots averaged a 50% success rate across 2025/26. That figure compares applications with tickets, so it is not your own chance.
It also moved a lot: 96% for Crystal Palace, 75% for Brentford and 68% for Burnley. So a new member should expect to win some draws and lose others. Four habits help:
- Apply for every game you could attend. Each ballot is a fresh chance.
- Apply together. Up to six linked members can share one application and sit together.
- Go to the games you buy. The club will track real attendance this season to shape its policy for 2027/28.
- Check the Ticket Exchange late on. Sales run until 90 minutes before kick-off, so a seat can still appear after you lose a draw.
How do you get a Leeds United membership?
You get a Leeds United membership online, through the club’s ticket site at tickets.leedsunited.com. New members could join for 2026/27 from 6 July 2026, and the same site is your membership login. Do these steps in order:
- Create an account on the ticket site.
- Choose a tier. My Leeds is enough unless you plan to chase returned seats.
- Pay online. Each person needs their own plan, because tickets are one per member.
- Send proof of age for a child. Email a copy of a birth certificate or passport to the Ticket Office within 7 days. If you do not, the plan is switched off until you do.
- Link your group. Add friends and family under My Friends & Family before a sale starts.
- Watch the club’s ticketing news for each game, then enter on the day.
You can upgrade from My Leeds to My Leeds+ later, under Memberships in My Account.
Is a Leeds membership worth it, and who should not buy one?
A Leeds membership is worth it if you want a normal seat at Elland Road, because the club sells those seats to members only. It is not worth it if you need to be at one exact game, since a ballot can always go against you.
- Best for most fans and first-timers: My Leeds at £50. It reaches the same ballots as My Leeds+.
- Best for fans who chase late seats: My Leeds+ at £75, if a head start on the Ticket Exchange matters to you.
- Bringing children? Choose the Family Area in the East Stand as your preferred stand. It needs no more than two adults to one concession, and at least one person over 18. The Elland Road seating plan guide compares every stand.
- Coming as a group? A ballot application holds six members at most, and the club has no group booking service.
- Disabled fans? The club offers a concession price with proof of DLA or PIP, two disability benefits. A personal assistant comes free if you get the middle or higher rate of DLA, or enhanced PIP. The Accessible Ticket Line is 0333 130 0505.
- Living abroad? European membership packs now ship from a European centre, so you should face no customs charge.
- Supporting the visiting team? Do not join. Visiting fans sit at the south end of the John Charles West Stand and buy through their own club.
Can you buy Leeds United tickets without a membership?
You cannot buy a normal Leeds United home ticket from the club without a membership. Even a forwarded ticket must go to a 2026/27 member linked to the sender’s account. These are the other ways in:
- Hospitality: a ticket with food and drink in a lounge, sold by the club. Its hospitality page lists packages in the East, West and South Stands.
- Resale: seats listed by other fans. Listings with live prices sit beside each game on the Leeds United tickets page.
Does a Leeds membership get you away tickets?
A Leeds membership gets you into a members’ ballot for away games, but that ballot holds a small share of the seats. An away ticket is a seat in the part of another club’s ground kept for visiting fans.
| Group | Share of a 3,000-ticket example |
|---|---|
| Away season ticket holders | 34.2% |
| Tracker, for fans with a high away record | 28% |
| Home season ticket holders | 28% |
| Members | 9.8% |
The club calls this a way to see the odd away game and build a record for the away Tracker ballot later on.
What should you avoid with a Leeds membership?
The main Leeds membership mistakes are buying a dearer tier for the wrong reason and missing a one-day ballot. Watch for these:
- Paying for My Leeds+ to win ballots. It gives no extra chance in them.
- Linking friends too late. Do it before tickets go on sale, or they cannot join your application.
- Missing the window. A home ballot opens at 10am and closes at midnight the same day.
- Entering with an American Express card. The club does not accept them for tickets, and the lead applicant must give card details.
- Forwarding too quickly. A forwarded ticket cannot be recalled.
What happens on matchday at Elland Road?
On matchday at Elland Road, your ticket lives on your phone, and the turnstiles, the entry gates, open 90 minutes before kick-off. All kick-off times here are UK time.
- Your ticket: save the mobile ticket from your email to Apple or Google Wallet before you set off.
- Bags: nothing larger than A4, and the ground has no luggage storage.
- Coming from outside Leeds? Leeds train station is a 35 to 40 minute walk away. The R2 shuttle bus leaves Sovereign Street from 150 minutes before kick-off.
- Driving? Club car parks cost £13 a space, booked game by game. They turn away anyone without a booking.
- Cannot go? Ask for a refund, minus booking fees, by email at least 24 hours before kick-off.
What to do now (as of 31 October 2026)
As of 31 October 2026, no new home sale had been announced, and the next Leeds membership date is the members’ ballot for Chelsea away on Wednesday 4 November. Do this first: join, link your group, then check the club’s ticketing news for the Coventry game.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a Leeds United membership?
A Leeds United membership costs £50 for an adult and £30 for an under-16 on My Leeds in 2026/27. My Leeds+ costs £75 and £45. Members on auto-renewal pay £45 and £25, or £70 and £40. My Leeds Priority follows the My Leeds+ prices. Match tickets cost extra.
Does a Leeds membership promise you a ticket?
No. The club's ticket policy says a membership does not promise a match ticket. Most seats go through ballots, which are free prize draws run game by game. The club says home ballots averaged a 50% success rate across 2025/26, but that compares applications with tickets, so it is not your own chance.
How do I buy Leeds United tickets without a membership?
You cannot buy a normal Elland Road ticket from Leeds United without a membership, because seats are sold only to current My Leeds members, one each. Your other routes are club hospitality, a ticket with food and drink, or resale listings. Fans of the visiting team buy through their own club.
What do you get with a Leeds United membership?
You get access to the home ballots, a separate members' ballot for away games and the Ticket Exchange, where returned seats are resold. You can also forward a ticket to another member. Extras include a membership gift, a digital membership card, members' events and club videos on LUTV.
Is a Leeds United membership a one-time payment?
Yes, for each season. You pay once for 2026/27, not monthly. If you pay by card, the club enrols you in auto-renewal, so your plan renews next season at a lower price without a new application. You can opt out at any time under Memberships in My Account.
When do Leeds United memberships go on sale?
For 2026/27, Leeds United memberships went on sale online on 6 July 2026 for new applicants and members not on auto-renewal. Members on auto-renewal had payments taken around 26 June. The club announced the scheme on 29 May, so look for next season's news in late spring.
Can you buy a Leeds United membership at Elland Road?
The club's notices point you to its online ticket site, tickets.leedsunited.com, for memberships. The North Stand Ticket Office is open on home matchdays only, for ticketing queries. If you need help joining, phone the Ticket Office on 0371 334 1992 before you travel.
Is My Leeds+ worth paying for?
My Leeds+ is worth it only if you will use the Ticket Exchange. It costs £75 for adults against £50 for My Leeds, and both tiers get the same treatment in the ballots. The extra money buys first access to seats handed back by season ticket holders.
How do I qualify for the Leeds Tracker ballot?
For 2026/27 you needed to buy 11 or more Leeds home games, league and cup, in 2025/26, not counting free tickets. Members of any tier who qualify get a 50% chance at each home game. For 2027/28 the club plans to use real attendance, so go to the games you buy.
How late can a member get a Leeds home ticket?
A member can buy a seat on the Ticket Exchange until 90 minutes before kick-off. Those seats only show once all other general admission seats have sold. A friend who is a linked 2026/27 member can also forward you their ticket until the turnstiles open, 90 minutes before kick-off.
