At a glance
- The Arsenal Ticket Exchange is the club's own resale service. Members buy seats that fans cannot use, at a full price set by the club, not the seller.
- It opens first to members who lost that game's ballot, Silver before Red, and it closes three hours before kick-off.
- Season ticket holders pay no fee when a seat sells. Silver and Red members pay a 10% admin fee.
- Sale money goes into a Cashback account. You withdraw it to a UK bank account in monthly windows, with a £5 minimum.
- As of 31 October 2026, it is open for four sold-out home games. Manchester United follows, once Red winners are charged around 3 November.
The Arsenal Ticket Exchange lets members buy seats that other fans cannot use, at full price, for sold-out men’s home games. Arsenal runs it itself. It opens first to members who lost that game’s ballot, a free prize draw for tickets, and it closes three hours before kick-off.
Each game’s sale status is on the Arsenal tickets page.
What is the Arsenal Ticket Exchange?
The Arsenal Ticket Exchange is a resale service run by the club, where a fan who cannot go sells their seat to another member. Arsenal is a north London football club, and its home, the Emirates Stadium, holds 60,704 people. The club sells men’s home tickets only to members, through a ballot for each game.
A membership is a paid plan for one season that lets you apply for tickets, and Red, the main adult level, costs £38. Seats reach the Exchange only once a game has sold out, and the club fixes the price, so there is no bidding.
When a seat sells, the seller’s digital pass, the entry pass on their phone, stops working for that game. The buyer’s pass is switched on, so nothing is posted or forwarded.
Who can use the Arsenal Ticket Exchange?
Silver and Red members can buy and sell on the Arsenal Ticket Exchange, and season ticket holders can sell. Silver is the level above Red, reached through a waiting list. Fans with no membership cannot use the Exchange at all.
| Who | What they can do | Fee when a seat sells |
|---|---|---|
| Silver members | Buy first after losing the Silver ballot, and sell | 10% admin fee |
| Red members and youth levels (Junior Gunners and Cannon) | Buy after losing the Red ballot, and sell | 10% admin fee |
| Season ticket holders | Sell seats they cannot use | None |
| Fans with no membership | Neither | Not relevant |
The first stage of each sale, which Arsenal calls the exclusive period, is reserved for members who lost. You are shut out of it if:
- you did not enter the ballot for that game;
- you won the ballot, even if your ticket is then resold;
- your membership number is suspended or banned for suspicious activity;
- your application was removed, for example a family-area entry that did not meet the area’s rules;
- someone in your group already holds a ticket for that game from a separate ballot.
Sold your own seat? You cannot buy another unless the Exchange has opened to all members, which the club announces on that game’s ticket information page.
When does the Arsenal Ticket Exchange open and close?
The Arsenal Ticket Exchange opens to Silver members who lost once the Silver ballot is complete, then to every member who lost once the Red ballot is complete. Arsenal’s help centre says that second stage opens from 5pm on the day the Red ballot is run.
The Exchange closes three hours before kick-off, unless the club says otherwise. For a 4.30pm kick-off, such as Arsenal v Manchester City on Sunday 29 November 2026, that means 1.30pm.
Seats have no set release time, because they appear whenever fans list them. Arsenal says more become available closer to the game, so check back often. Two club rules suggest when to look:
- The first 24 hours. Sellers earn 25 extra My Arsenal Rewards points, the club’s points scheme, if they list and sell within 24 hours of the Exchange opening.
- The night before the game. A listing made before midnight on the day before counts as using the seat, even if it does not sell.
How do you buy on the Arsenal Ticket Exchange?
You buy on the Arsenal Ticket Exchange through eticketing.co.uk/arsenal, the club’s ticket website, once you are in the eligible group. Arsenal’s help centre sets out these steps:
- Log in. Use the Log In button at the top right of the screen.
- Find the game. Click Match Tickets, then All Matches, pick your game and click Find Tickets.
- Turn on the Exchange. In the left-hand menu, switch on Include Tickets Posted on Ticket Exchange. You only see this switch when seats are live.
- Pick a block. Blue blocks have seats, and grey blocks do not.
- Add your seat. Choose the price class that matches your membership age, then click Add.
- Buying for a friend? Each seat goes on your own membership at first. Click re-assign, then pick a member from My Network, your list of linked accounts.
- Pay. Click Proceed To Checkout, enter your card details and review the order.
Why are there no seats on the Arsenal Ticket Exchange?
The Arsenal Ticket Exchange shows no seats when nobody has listed one, or when you are not in the eligible group yet. If a game such as Arsenal v Bournemouth is missing, check that you entered its ballot and lost.
How much do Arsenal Ticket Exchange tickets cost?
Arsenal Ticket Exchange tickets cost a full price fixed by the club, so sellers cannot set their own. A member’s ticket goes back on at its member price, and season ticket seats follow a separate Exchange price list. Adult member prices start at £31.80 in Category C, £44.80 in B, £61.20 in B+ and £78 in A.
A category is the price band Arsenal gives each game. Every area and age is in the guide to how much Arsenal tickets cost.
Concessions need care. A price class is the ticket type for your age, such as Junior or Senior, and you must choose the right one before adding a seat to your basket. If you do not, checkout fails and you have to release the seat.
If your price class is not shown, its limit for that game has been reached, and you pay the adult price. The limits for each game are 2,000 Junior, 700 Young Adult, 300 Cannon and 200 Senior tickets.
How do you sell a ticket on the Arsenal Ticket Exchange?
You sell a ticket on the Arsenal Ticket Exchange by listing it on eticketing.co.uk/arsenal once the game has sold out. Ballot winners who cannot go can list their ticket too.
- Log in, click the head and shoulders icon at the top right, then click Manage Tickets.
- Select the game.
- Tick the box next to your seat, then click Sell On Ticket Exchange under Ticket Actions.
- Click Proceed To Payment, then check the confirmation screen.
- Rewards: a sale earns members 50 My Arsenal Rewards points, and season ticket holders earn an attendance stamp for listing.
- If it does not sell: you keep the ticket and can still go. The club sends no email, so check Booking History in your account.
- Changing your mind: a listed seat may already be selling, and the club cannot remove it for you.
- The seat use rule: members who fail to use their seat more than once are blocked from ballots for the rest of the season. A listing on matchday counts only if it sells.
How do you withdraw money from the Arsenal Ticket Exchange?
You withdraw money from the Arsenal Ticket Exchange through Cashback, the club’s withdrawal service, which opens in monthly windows. Your sale money waits in a Cashback account, and the club does not pay it out automatically.
- Log in to your own account during a Cashback window, and open the Cashback tab.
- Enter the account holder’s name, the bank name, the sort code and the account number.
- Pick the amount. The minimum withdrawal is £5.
- Wait at least 10 working days after the window closes, or 21 working days if you are based outside the UK.
Cashback pays into UK bank accounts only, so members based overseas fill in a form, with help from Fan Services on 020 7619 5000. Clear your balance by the end of each season, because money left is taken off Gold and Platinum renewals.
What mistakes should you avoid on the Arsenal Ticket Exchange?
The biggest Arsenal Ticket Exchange mistake is skipping a ballot, because a lost entry is what gets you in.
- Joining too late. For Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid, memberships bought after a cut-off date could not enter the ballot, so they never reached the Exchange either.
- Refreshing too fast. A blocked or 403 error usually means the system took you for a bot, an automated buying program. Try again later.
- Using a VPN. A VPN, which hides your location, can trigger errors. If you see Your Browsing Activity Has Been Paused, switch to mobile data.
- Running an old app. The Ticket Hub, the ticket section of the app, needs the latest Arsenal app.
- Trusting your inbox. Results usually arrive by email, but checking Ballot Activity in the Ticket Hub is your job.
Who is the Arsenal Ticket Exchange best for?
The Arsenal Ticket Exchange is best for members who enter every ballot and can check for seats often. It is not worth planning a long trip around, because seats are never certain.
- First-timers: join as a Red member first, then enter a ballot. The Arsenal membership guide explains the levels.
- Families: check the price class for each child. Children aged 13 and under must sit within reaching distance of an adult aged 18 or over.
- Disabled fans: Disability Access members have their own way of listing tickets. Call the Disability Liaison Team on 0207 619 5000, option 2.
- Fans with no membership: the Exchange is closed to you. The guide to how to get Arsenal tickets ranks your other routes.
Is there a Ticket Exchange for away games or Arsenal Women?
Arsenal runs a separate Away Ticket Exchange, which opens once an away game has sold out. Access depends on away points, the credits fans earn by going to away games. For Brentford v Arsenal, its window for members with 45 or more points closed at 12pm on Monday 2 November.
Arsenal Women have their own arrangements. Fans who buy for one women’s home game cannot list it on the Exchange. They can use Ticket Transfer, a free service for sending a ticket to a friend or relative.
How do you get in with an Arsenal Ticket Exchange ticket?
You get in with an Arsenal Ticket Exchange ticket the same way as any other, using the digital pass on your phone. Add the pass to your Apple or Android wallet before you travel, and arrive at least 90 minutes before kick-off, as the club asks.
- Getting there: Arsenal station, on the Piccadilly line, is about three minutes’ walk from the Emirates Stadium.
- Bags: anything larger than A4 is refused, and every bag is searched.
- Your seat: the Emirates Stadium seating plan shows where each block is.

Frequently asked questions
When does the Arsenal Ticket Exchange open?
The Arsenal Ticket Exchange opens once a home game has sold out and the ballots are done. Silver members who lost get in first, once the Silver ballot is complete. Every member who lost gets in after the Red ballot, from 5pm on the day it runs. Any wider opening is announced on the match page.
What time does the Arsenal Ticket Exchange close?
The Arsenal Ticket Exchange closes three hours before kick-off, unless the club says otherwise for a match. So it shuts at 1.30pm for a 4.30pm kick-off and at 5pm for an 8pm kick-off. Ticket Transfer closes at the same point, and a transferred ticket not accepted by then is accepted automatically.
How do I log in to the Arsenal Ticket Exchange?
Go to eticketing.co.uk/arsenal and use the Log In button at the top right. Then click Match Tickets, All Matches and your game. If you cannot see the Exchange switch, either no seats are live right now, or you are not in the eligible group, usually because you did not enter that ballot.
How do I withdraw money from the Arsenal Ticket Exchange?
Log in to your own account during a monthly Cashback window, open the Cashback tab and enter your UK bank details. The minimum withdrawal is £5. Money clears at least 10 working days after the window closes, or 21 working days outside the UK. Members based overseas fill in a form instead.
How much does Arsenal charge to sell on the Ticket Exchange?
Season ticket holders pay nothing when a ticket sells on the Arsenal Ticket Exchange. Silver and Red members are charged a 10% admin fee, taken from the sale. The rest goes into a Cashback account, which you withdraw from during monthly windows. Members also earn 50 My Arsenal Rewards points for each sale.
Can I put my Arsenal season ticket on the Exchange?
Yes. Arsenal season ticket holders can list a seat once a game has sold out, and they pay no fee. Listing before midnight on the day before the game counts towards the seat use rule even if the seat does not sell. A listing on matchday counts only if it sells.
Can you buy multiple tickets on the Arsenal Ticket Exchange?
You can add more than one seat to your basket, picking each seat one at a time. Each seat goes on your own membership at first, so click re-assign and choose another member from My Network. Arsenal sells one ticket per membership for most games, so each person needs their own membership.
Can I buy on the Arsenal Ticket Exchange if I won the ballot?
Not during the exclusive period, the first stage reserved for members who lost. Arsenal blocks ballot winners even if they resell their ticket, along with members who did not enter. If you cannot use a ticket you won, you can list it on the Exchange once the game has sold out.
What happens if my ticket does not sell on the Arsenal Ticket Exchange?
If your ticket has not sold by the deadline, three hours before kick-off, it comes off sale and you can still use it to attend. Arsenal sends no email to say it did not sell, so check the Booking History section of your Online Box Office account, the club's ticket website.
How do I put my ticket on the Arsenal Ticket Exchange?
Log in at eticketing.co.uk/arsenal, click the head and shoulders icon and choose Manage Tickets. Select the game, tick your seat, click Sell On Ticket Exchange, then Proceed To Payment. You can do this once the game has sold out. A confirmation screen then shows that your ticket is listed for sale.
