Arsenal v Sunderland: date, kick-off and how to watch

Sunderland's Premier League visit to the Emirates Stadium is provisionally dated Saturday 20 March 2027, and the league has yet to fix the kick-off time. On Arsenal's side, the price category and the members' ballot have not been announced, so no club tickets are available so far. When the sale does open, it will be for members only, through a ballot and then the Ticket Exchange.

Official status: not on sale yet at the official seller. Resale seats listed on Hellotickets start at £315 in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026).

The provisional date is Saturday 20 March 2027, at the Emirates Stadium in Holloway, north London, and kick-off is TBC. Dates and times like this one are firmed up when the Premier League confirms its broadcast selections.

If the game ends up at 3pm on the Saturday, the blackout means no live UK broadcast; any televised slot will be named in the broadcasters' listings once confirmed. Sunderland's wider fixture list is on our Sunderland tickets page.

How to get Arsenal v Sunderland tickets

Arsenal have not yet opened this sale. When they do, there will be three ways in, and only the last is open to non-members, since the club never holds a general sale for men's home games:

  1. Members' ballot. Silver Members are balloted before Red Members, and anyone successful is charged automatically at the member price for the category the club sets.
  2. Ticket Exchange. Unsuccessful members get first access to full-price tickets resold by season ticket holders and other members, until three hours before kick-off.
  3. Resale. Seats listed on Hellotickets, where sellers set their own prices; they can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay.

The first two routes are usually better value, but they depend on membership. Red Membership costs £38 a season for adults, and the club's published 2026/27 success rates so far run from 5% to 12% for Red and from 24% to 58% for Silver. The How To Get Arsenal Tickets guide walks through membership.

  • Finsbury Park on footFinsbury Park, served by the Victoria and Piccadilly lines and Great Northern trains, is around a 10-minute walk from the stadium and wheelchair accessible.
  • Who the sellers areHellotickets says it works with official channels and a network of secure, fully verified partners, though sellers still set their own prices.

Where to sit at Emirates Stadium

The West Stand is the Emirates' main stand, running along the west touchline with the players' tunnel, the Directors' Box and the Diamond Club, and the East Stand mirrors it on the other side. Behind the goals, the North Bank is Arsenal's home end, while the Clock End, named after its clock, has licensed standing in the lower tier from 2026/27. All four stands have a lower tier, Club Level, a box level and an upper tier.

Sunderland's fans are placed in the away section in the south-east corner, next to the Clock End. In the Hellotickets listings, "Shortside" means an end, "Longside" a touchline stand and "Central" a seat near halfway. Our Emirates Stadium seating plan shows where each block sits.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an Arsenal membership cost?

Red Membership, for adults aged 18 and over, costs £38 a season. It lets you enter the ballot for men's home matches, where Silver Members are drawn first, and use the Ticket Exchange if you miss out. It does not secure a seat: the club's published 2026/27 success rates so far are 5% to 12% for Red Members.

How much are Arsenal v Sunderland tickets?

The member price depends on a category Arsenal have not yet set for this match. On the resale market, seats listed on Hellotickets start at £315 in the Shortside Upper Tier (checked 5 Nov 2026). Touchline, central and lower-tier seats cost more, and sellers set their own prices.

Can I buy Arsenal v Sunderland tickets without being a member?

Only on the resale market. Arsenal never hold a general sale for men's home games: tickets go to members through a ballot, then through the Ticket Exchange to members who missed out. On resale, the final price is shown before you pay.

Is Arsenal v Sunderland sold out?

Arsenal currently show the match as not on sale yet at the official seller (last checked 5 Nov 2026). In October the club had not announced the members' ballot; the Ticket Exchange follows it for unsuccessful members. Resale seats are listed on Hellotickets, starting at £315.

What time is kick-off for Arsenal v Sunderland?

Kick-off is TBC, and Saturday 20 March 2027 is a provisional date. The Premier League confirms dates and times as broadcast picks are made; if the match stays at 3pm on the Saturday, it will not be shown live in the UK.

How do I get to the Emirates for Arsenal v Sunderland?

The nearest station is Arsenal on the Piccadilly line, around three minutes' walk. Finsbury Park and Highbury & Islington are about ten minutes away and wheelchair accessible. Holloway Road is exit-only before the match and closed for up to two hours after it, and Drayton Park is closed on matchdays.
