The date and time come from UEFA's own match data: Wednesday 20 January 2027, 8.45pm local time at the Şükrü Saracoğlu in Istanbul. Turkey sits three hours ahead of the UK in winter, so the game starts at 5.45pm British time, an early-evening kick-off for viewers at home.
The fixture is not provisional, but UEFA can still adjust the schedule, so recheck the time on the UEFA site before booking travel around it.
No UK broadcaster is named in our data for this match. Champions League picks are confirmed by the UK rights holders closer to the date, so check their listings in the week of the game.

How to get Fenerbahce v Villarreal tickets
Fenerbahce do not run their own shop for match tickets: like other Turkish clubs, they sell on Passo (passo.com.tr). The way it works shapes what you can do now.
- Passo shows only live sales. Its football category lists the matches currently on sale and nothing else. On 21 October 2026 it carried Lille v Galatasaray, Besiktas v Crystal Palace and domestic Super Lig and 1. Lig games, but no later European home match of Fenerbahce, Galatasaray or Besiktas.
- No date announced. Until the match appears on Passo, it is not on sale, and Fenerbahce have not published when that will be.
- The fan card question. Passo's menu links to a Passo Taraftar Kart, a fan card. Whether it is required to buy for this game has not been checked; the Passo event page will spell out the conditions once it is live.
- General sale: unknown for this fixture, for the same reason.
Villarreal supporters should follow their own club for any away allocation; see Villarreal tickets. For the home side's full list of games, go to Fenerbahce tickets, and for the competition as a whole, Champions League tickets.
If you want a seat before Passo opens, Hellotickets lists resale tickets now. Sellers set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. When the club sale opens, it is usually the cheaper route.
Good to know before you go
- Mind the time differenceKick-off is 8.45pm in Istanbul but 5.45pm in the UK. Double-check flight times and any hotel check-in against Turkish local time.
- Check Passo regularlyPasso lists only matches currently on sale, so the Fenerbahce v Villarreal page will appear without warning once the club opens it.
- Look into the fan cardPasso sells a Passo Taraftar Kart. Its role for this game is unconfirmed, so read the event conditions before relying on a club ticket.
- Resale deliveryHellotickets sends tickets as soon as it receives them from the seller, sometimes up to 1–2 days before the event, so allow for that before you fly.
Where to sit at Şükrü Saracoğlu
The resale listings for this match use the stand names of the Şükrü Saracoğlu, which makes the table easier to read than a generic "Longside" or "Shortside" split. Four named stands appear, each divided into an upper and a lower level:
- Fenerium Tribün, upper and lower
- Migros Tribün, upper and lower
- Türk Telekom Tribünü, upper and lower
- Maraton Tribün (listed as OST), upper and lower
Two further listings, Category 1 and Category 2, are sold by category without a named stand, so the seller assigns the block.
We do not hold a sourced plan of which stand faces which, nor where Villarreal's travelling fans will be placed, so we will not guess. If sitting away from the home support matters to you, wait for the Passo listing, which shows the away sector.
