AZ Alkmaar tickets 2026/27

1. The order of sale for European games

AZ sold the four Europa League home games in three steps. Season ticket holders could upgrade their own seat to a passe-partout until 8 September; loose passe-partouts were then sold until 4 October; and single-match tickets went on sale on 8 October at 9.30am. The first two steps are closed, and single tickets for Sturm Graz and Dinamo Zagreb are now on sale at the club.

2. Who can buy a single ticket

Single tickets for the home sections are restricted to AZ fans with a purchase right, buying through a verified account:

• Season ticket holders: 4 tickets each.
• Waaghalzen and AllstarZ members: 4 tickets.
• Clubkaart holders: 2 tickets.

The memberships and the Clubkaart had to be applied for by 27 August 2026 to give a purchase right for these games, so joining now does not open the European single-ticket sale to you.

3. When regular tickets run out

Once the regular tickets for a match are gone, the AZ ticket shop shows "Alleen resale nog beschikbaar", only resale still available, and points fans to the club's official resale, as it did for AZ v Juventus. That resale sits on the same ticket shop, so check it before any other platform.

4. No sales on matchday

AZ do not sell tickets on matchday, so do not travel to Alkmaar hoping to buy at the ground. Parking permits for the P8 and P9 car parks are sold in advance, so sort one out before you travel if you plan to drive.

5. Without a purchase right

If you hold none of these rights, the club sale for the European games is closed to you, and a general sale is rare at AZ. The remaining route is the resale market; for the competition's other fixtures, see our Europa League tickets page.

On Hellotickets, AZ Alkmaar v Sturm Graz tickets and AZ Alkmaar v Dinamo Zagreb tickets start at the same level for now, and for both games the seats listed at the last check were behind a goal, shown as "Shortside Tier". No touchline or central seats were listed for either match.

Across both games, resale listings start from £598.

Be clear about what you are buying. AZ tie home-section single tickets to fans with a purchase right and a verified account, and run their own official resale for sold-out games. Sellers on Hellotickets set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. Read the delivery terms on the listing before you commit.

AZ play their home games at the AFAS Stadion in Alkmaar. For ticketing, the ground divides into the home sections, where single tickets are restricted to AZ fans with a purchase right, and the away section, which AZ do not sell at all.

Resale listings use general labels for position: "Shortside" means behind a goal, "Longside" along the touchline and "Central" close to the halfway line. Both European games currently start behind a goal.

The Sturm Graz match kicks off at 6.45pm on a Thursday, 5.45pm in the UK, so allow for weekday traffic if you drive, and buy a P8 or P9 parking permit in advance, as the club sells them ahead of the game. Dinamo Zagreb starts at 9pm, 8pm in the UK, which means a late finish.

A ticket bought on Hellotickets is sent as soon as Hellotickets receives it from the seller, sometimes up to 1–2 days before the event, so you will not have it in hand weeks ahead.

AZ do not sell away tickets themselves: visiting supporters can only order them from their own club. Sturm Graz and Dinamo Zagreb fans heading to Alkmaar should therefore buy through Sturm Graz or Dinamo Zagreb, not through the AZ ticket shop.

Because AZ hold no ticket sale on matchday, there is no fallback at the stadium, and home-section tickets are reserved for AZ fans with a purchase right.
