How to get Aberdeen v Rangers tickets
Aberdeen have not opened sales for their 2027 home matches yet. The announced order is a 24-hour priority window for Pick 6 holders, then general sale, with no dates set.
Why points may matter
Category A is reserved for Celtic and Rangers. For games like these, Aberdeen use Priority Points to decide who gets in first; points come from buying tickets, holding a season ticket and AberDNA membership, whose tiers earn 25 to 40 points. For last season's home game against Celtic, the club first offered tickets only to supporters with a previous buying history. Whether the same applies to Rangers will be in the sale announcement, so read it closely rather than assume an open sale.
Prices
The adult Red Shed price for Category A is £30, with Silver, Gold and Platinum above it. Platinum seats are mostly held by season ticket members and seldom appear in a public sale.
Late returns and resale
Season ticket holders can release seats through the club's Seat Resale from seven days before kick-off. Seats listed on Hellotickets are priced by their sellers, often above face value, and the full price is shown before you pay. Rangers supporters can find the club's other fixtures on Rangers tickets, and Aberdeen's full home list is on Aberdeen tickets.
Good to know before you go
- Build up Priority PointsBuying other home tickets or joining AberDNA adds Priority Points, which Aberdeen can use to rank buyers for Category A games such as Rangers.
- Read the sale noticeWhen the club announces the Rangers sale, check its conditions: last season's Celtic home game was first offered only to supporters with buying history.
- Flares are bannedPyrotechnics are prohibited at Pittodrie and smoking is not allowed anywhere in the stadium.
- Allow time to get inPittodrie Street closes to traffic near kick-off and stadium car parks are pass-only. Park and ride or the 13 bus to Golf Road keep you clear of it.
Where to sit at Pittodrie Stadium
For a game with this much needle, where you sit matters. The visiting support is at the east end of the South Stand, with its own turnstiles, collection booth and bus park on Golf Road; Rangers fans should only buy in that section, and home fans should avoid it.
The loudest home area is the middle of the Richard Donald Stand upper tier, behind the east goal; the same tier holds the Family Area in blocks 5 and 6. The Merkland Stand covers the west goal, and the Main Stand, the 1925 grandstand, runs along the touchline opposite the South Stand.
On Hellotickets, "Shortside" seats are behind a goal and "South Stand" seats are on the touchline; that stand mixes home and away blocks.
