Twickenham tickets

England's rugby home at Twickenham: the autumn Tests, Finals Weekend, the Six Nations members' sale, tiers and categories, and travel.

Updated 5 Nov 2026

Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, on Whitton Road in south-west London, opened in 1909 and is the home of England's rugby team. Most fans still call it Twickenham, its name until September 2024. It seats up to 82,000 for rugby, and the stadium describes itself as the largest dedicated rugby union stadium in the world.

The autumn is busy. England play Australia on Sunday 8 November at 3.10pm and Japan on Saturday 14 November at 4.40pm, both on general sale at England Rugby on 20 October, from £79 and £51 respectively, while England v New Zealand on Saturday 21 November was sold out, with only hospitality left. The Nations Championship's Finals Weekend follows from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 November, with a double-header each day and the final at 4.40pm on the Sunday.

The 2027 Six Nations brings France on Sunday 14 February, Italy on Saturday 20 February and Scotland on Saturday 13 March. Those games went first to RFU-affiliated clubs, debenture holders and registered Twickenham residents, England Rugby Club First XV members could buy from 6 October, and no general sale had been announced.

Resale listings on Hellotickets for the matches below open at £108 (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Twickenham guide: tiers, categories, travel and hospitality

Seating plan and stands

The ground is a bowl of four stands, North, East, West and South, each with a Lower, Middle and Upper Tier:

  • North Stand: rebuilt and opened in 1990, the first stand of the 1990s redevelopment.
  • East Stand: rebuilt after 1992 to the same design as the North Stand.
  • West Stand: also rebuilt in the 1990s to the North Stand's design.
  • South Stand: rebuilt in 2005-2006, which completed the bowl and took capacity to 82,000. It houses the Radisson RED London Twickenham hotel, some of whose rooms overlook the pitch, and the TW2 Health and Fitness Club, and official hospitality match tickets are usually in this stand.

Price follows the ticket category rather than the stand. The RFU sorts seats into five categories, Premium and then Categories 1 to 4, and a single block can hold up to three of them. For the 2027 Six Nations, standard RFU prices for France and Scotland run from £93 in Category 4 to £207 for Premium (£84 to £176 at the clubs' entitlement rate), with juniors at £37; for Italy they run from £76 to £155 (£71 to £134), with juniors at £15.

Resale listings describe position instead: Sideline seats run along the touchline, Endline seats are at the ends, behind the posts, and Corner seats sit between the two, with Lower, Middle or Upper giving the tier; other listings give a code instead, such as L13 or U11. The stadium warns that the middle and upper tier concourses are very high and the upper tier is steep, and it advises against upper-tier seats for children under 8. The Twickenham seating plan shows the blocks.

Getting there

Several stations are within walking distance of the stadium (TW2):

  • Twickenham: the nearest, a 10-minute walk.
  • Whitton and Hounslow: 20 and 30 minutes on foot.
  • Richmond, on the District line and London Overground: a 45-minute walk, or the RFU shuttle bus, which runs from three hours before kick-off until three hours after the final whistle and costs £5 before the match, nothing afterwards.
  • Hounslow East, on the Underground: a 30-minute walk, and also served by the RFU shuttle.
  • Bus: routes 281, 481, 681 and 110 stop about a minute's walk away, though the 281 and 481 may be diverted once the match-day road closures begin.

Roads close two hours before and two to three hours after the match, a controlled parking zone covers about a mile around the stadium, and match-day parking must be booked in advance.

Tickets are mobile, in the Allianz Stadium app. Everyone needs their own ticket on their own phone, accompanied under-18s apart, and the QR code appears 48 hours before the match and must not be screenshotted.

The stadium suggests leaving bags at home: anything you carry must be A4 or smaller and is searched, and larger items go to the bag drop at Webb Ellis House on Rugby Road for £10. The whole stadium inside the gates is non-smoking, and buggies, prams and carry seats are not allowed, so babies come in a front carrier.

Hospitality

Allianz Stadium sells its own hospitality and memberships, separately from England Rugby's match tickets. Match packages include The East Wing by Tommy Banks, The Lock by Tom Kerridge, The Loft, The Gate, The Huddle, Beaumont, the British Airways Rose Garden and the Allianz Suite, alongside private suites and debentures.

For England v New Zealand, sold out at England Rugby, hospitality was the one official route still offered at the last check. Finals Weekend has its own hospitality and premium options on the Nations Championship site, next to day tickets, Support your team tickets and two- or three-day bundles at 10% and 15% off.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy tickets for Twickenham?

England's home Tests are sold by England Rugby through RFU Ticketing, first to RFU clubs, debenture holders, Twickenham residents and First XV members, then on general sale when one is held.
