Sunderland v Everton: date, kick-off and how to watch
Everton travel to Wearside for a Premier League match at the Stadium of Light, provisionally on Saturday 20 February 2027, with the kick-off time to be confirmed. At the 5 Nov 2026 check, Everton's visit was not on sale yet at the official seller.
On Hellotickets, resale seats start at £106 in the Shortside Upper section (checked 5 Nov 2026).
Two practical points stand out: Sunderland sell this fixture to Black Cats members by ballot, and there is no general supporter parking at the ground, so the Metro, the train or the bus is the way in for most visitors.

The Premier League lists the fixture provisionally for Saturday 20 February 2027 at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland, with the kick-off marked TBC.
A 3pm Saturday kick-off would mean no live coverage in the UK, under the blackout that covers Premier League games at that time. If broadcasters pick the match, the date or time will change and the UK channel will be confirmed in the Premier League's listings; until then, keep travel bookings flexible.

How to get Sunderland v Everton tickets
Who gets tickets first? Black Cats Adult and Academy Members, through a ballot. Adult membership costs £48 a season, and you must opt in to each match rather than being entered automatically.
When is the ballot? It had not been announced at the last check. Sunderland publish each two-day window in their weekly ticket news and email results from 4pm the day after it closes. Some fixtures are open only to members with purchase history.
What will it cost? Everton's category had not been published. The one league band the club has shown this season, Category A for the Leeds United game, starts at £39 for adults. Hospitality is sold separately on the club's ticketing site.
Is there a general sale? Only if tickets are left after the draw, when the club may add another phase, as it did with a restricted general sale for Leeds.
And without membership? Resale is the option. Seats listed on Hellotickets carry prices set by sellers, which may be above face value, and the final price is displayed before you pay. Everton's other fixtures are on our Everton tickets page.

Where to sit at Stadium of Light
Everton's supporters will be high in the North Stand Upper, the away section above the north goal, reached through turnstiles 69-74; the Premier League has approved that arrangement for 2026/27 only. The Roker End (South Stand) behind the other goal is the home singing end.
The side stands are the Jimmy Montgomery Stand to the west, renamed in May 2025, with the Premier Concourse and executive boxes in its upper tier, and the East Stand. Hellotickets labels seats by side: Longside for the touchlines, with "Central Longside Seats" near halfway, and Shortside for the ends. Upper levels are higher up, and lower tiers and levels closer to the pitch. To stay clear of the visiting fans, check where a Shortside upper seat is before buying; the Stadium of Light seating plan helps.
