Simple Minds tickets

The tour fills ten days. The O2 opens it on Thursday 6 May, Co-op Live follows on Friday 7 May and Utilita Arena Birmingham on Saturday 8 May. After a Sunday off, the band play Motorpoint Arena Nottingham on Monday 10 May, Leeds on Tuesday 11 May and Utilita Arena Newcastle on Thursday 13 May, before the two Glasgow nights.

Listed times are either 6pm, in Birmingham, Leeds and Newcastle, or 6.30pm, in London, Manchester, Nottingham and on both Glasgow nights. There are no matinées.

Arena by arena

Newcastle's Utilita Arena, formerly the Metro Radio Arena, is on Arena Way by the River Tyne, near Newcastle Central Station and the Redheugh Bridge. Children aged 14 or under are not allowed on its standing floor, and the balcony level has very steep steps. Its operator announced a modernisation in January 2026, with a new mezzanine of premium lounges, so facilities may change before May.

Leeds, listed as First Direct Arena, has no car park of its own; the Merrion Centre's, next door, is the closest, and the venue asks for drop-offs and pick-ups to be arranged away from the building because of congestion after shows. In Nottingham, the Lace Market tram stop is about five minutes from the arena, with trams roughly every seven minutes until midnight.

Co-op Live asks fans not to arrive before 9am on the day and allows no camping outside, and late shuttle buses run after its bigger events. Utilita Arena Birmingham sits inside the city's Clean Air Zone, which matters if you drive. At the Hydro, Argyle Street station has no lift, so the venue points step-free travellers to Glasgow Central and the train to Exhibition Centre.

Resale starts were lowest in Manchester and Nottingham at the last check, with London and Birmingham close behind, Leeds and Newcastle level a little higher, and the two Glasgow nights at the top, the Friday above the Saturday.

The upper tier is the usual way in. It opened the market at The O2, Co-op Live, Birmingham and Newcastle, and on both Glasgow nights the Hydro's top tier came first, listed as upper tier or Level 3. Nottingham was the exception, with the floor starting lowest, and in Leeds the middle tier came first.

The gaps above the upper tier can be wide. In Birmingham, lower-tier and floor listings started far above it, and at The O2 the Deck, the premium bar-stool rows on Level 1, and the Terrace listings started well above every other section. In Glasgow, standing started highest of the regular sections on both nights, with the retractable seating just below it on the Saturday.

Venue Premium packages appear on Ticketmaster UK as separate events. While all eight dates remain on general sale, the official price is normally the lower one. Resale prices on Hellotickets are set by sellers and can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay.

Ticketmaster UK sells all eight dates. Five presales came before the general sale: a Co-op Presale, an OVO Presale, an Artist Presale, an Album Presale and a Gigs In Scotland Presale. The general sale then opened on 11 September 2026 at 9.30am UK time, and when the artist page was read on 21 October every date was on sale, Birmingham at low availability.

AXS is the other official route for the London date, because The O2's website points buyers there. A date that Ticketmaster UK marks as sold out has no standard tickets left on that platform, only resale listings, if any.

Official resale at the venues

Co-op Live endorses Ticketmaster Ticket Exchange, at face value or less, and Utilita Arena Birmingham names AXS Official Resale as its official route. At The O2, tickets are shown in its venue app, and screenshots are not accepted.

If a date sells out, seats listed on Hellotickets are the alternative. In Hellotickets' words, “Every ticket is authenticated. If there's ever an issue, you're protected by our refund policy.” Tickets are sent as soon as Hellotickets receives them from the seller, sometimes up to 1–2 days before the event.
