Wembley Stadium seating plan: levels, blocks and the best seats explained

Wembley has no named stands, just levels and numbered blocks. Learn how to read your block, where to sit for football or a concert, and what tickets cost.

At a glance

  • Wembley Stadium holds 90,000 people in one bowl with no named stands, so you choose a level and a block rather than a stand.
  • The first digit of your block is your level: 1 lower tier, 2 Club Wembley, 5 upper tier. Levels 3 and 4 are private boxes.
  • For football, Level 1 near the halfway line is the classic seat. For most concerts the stage is at the West End, so the East End faces it.
  • England v Croatia general-sale prices were £80, £65, £45 and £35. The game is sold out as of 31 October 2026, and hospitality is for members only.
  • Each person can bring one small bag, no bigger than A4. The stadium is cashless, so bring a card or pay by contactless.
Wembley Stadium seating plan

  1. North side: Long side by the touchline, with Levels 1, 2 and 5. Not a named stand.
  2. East End: Behind the east goal. Faces the stage at most concerts.
  3. South side: Long side by the touchline, with Levels 1, 2 and 5. Not a named stand.
  4. West End: Behind the west goal. The usual place for the concert stage.

Simple plan, not to scale.

The Wembley Stadium seating plan has no named stands. Its 90,000 seats form one bowl, and the first digit of your block number gives your level: 1 lower tier, 2 Club Wembley, 3 and 4 boxes, 5 upper tier. For football, Level 1 near halfway is the classic seat; at most concerts, the East End faces the stage.

How does the Wembley Stadium seating plan work?

The Wembley Stadium seating plan works by level and block, not by stand. Wembley Stadium, officially Wembley Stadium connected by EE, is England’s national football stadium in north-west London. It opened in 2007 and also hosts cup finals, NFL London games and big concerts.

A level is a ring of seats around the pitch. A block is a numbered section of that ring, and your ticket shows your block, row and seat number. So Block 218 is on Level 2, and Block 514 is on Level 5.

Level Blocks Who sits there What it is like Price level
Level 1, lower tier Start with 1 Normal ticket buyers. At concerts it includes the pitch Closest to the action Normal event prices
Level 2, middle tier Start with 2 Club Wembley members, hospitality guests (tickets with food and drink), a few ticket buyers Its own bars and food stores Highest seat prices
Levels 3 and 4 Boxes start with 3 or 4 Private box holders Sold as boxes, not seat by seat No published price
Level 5, upper tier Start with 5 Normal ticket buyers High and steep. The stadium says it may not suit people with vertigo Normal event prices

The two ends are the East End and the West End. The north and south sides run along the touchlines, the lines on the long edges of the pitch.

Wembley Stadium’s roof covers the seats, not the pitch, and the sections above the East End and West End can partly open. So your seat is under cover, while the pitch is open to the sky.

How to pick a seat in four steps

  1. Open the seat map for your own event, because layouts differ.
  2. Decide what matters most: being close, seeing everything, or paying less.
  3. Read the first digit of each block to see its level.
  4. Try the 3D “View From Your Seat” tool on Wembley’s website.

Wembley’s level maps show what is near your block, such as toilets and food stalls.

What is Club Wembley, and who sits on Level 2?

Club Wembley is the premium membership for Level 2 seats at Wembley Stadium, now sold as Experiences by Wembley Stadium. Members get the same seat at every England home game and cup final for three seasons. They also get hospitality, a ticket that comes with food, drink and lounges such as One Twenty and Number Nine.

Club Wembley tickets differ from normal tickets in what sits behind the seat. Level 2 has its own concourse, the covered walkway behind the seats, with TapHouse Social, Camden Town Brewery bars and two M&S Food stores. Only Level 2 ticket holders can use them, and most Level 2 seats go to members.

Where are the best seats at Wembley Stadium for football?

The best seats at Wembley Stadium for football are on Level 1 along the sides, as close to the halfway line as your budget allows. That is the classic view of a match. Other seats suit other fans:

  • Best for value: central blocks on Level 5 along the sides. You see the whole pitch and both teams’ shape for less.
  • Best for atmosphere: your own club’s end at a cup final, among your own fans.
  • Best for food and comfort: Level 2, if you can get a seat.
  • Not for everyone: low rows behind the goals. You sit at pitch level, near one goal and a long way from the other.

What does the Wembley Stadium seating plan look like for concerts?

The Wembley Stadium concert seating plan keeps the same levels, but the pitch becomes a standing area with no seats. For most stadium shows the stage is built at the West End, and pitch tickets count as Level 1.

The pitch is usually split into general standing and front sections, such as a gold circle close to the stage. These vary by tour. The Weeknd’s 2026 shows used a stage reaching into the middle of the pitch, so always open the map for your own show.

Where Best for Not ideal if
Pitch, front section Being as close as possible You do not want to stand for hours
Pitch, general standing Being in the crowd You want to see the whole production
East End, Level 1 or 2 Facing the stage head-on You want to feel close
Sides, Level 1 or 2 Getting closer, at an angle You want a straight view
East End, Level 5 Being in the building and hearing the songs You want to see faces: it is the furthest point from the stage

How much are Wembley Stadium tickets?

Wembley Stadium ticket prices change with each event, so there is no single price list. Here are the official prices for the next England games.

What you buy Official price Worth knowing
England v Croatia, general sale £80, £65, £45, £35 A general sale is open to everyone. Pensioners, students and under-16s got £10 off
England v Croatia, Family Enclosure £25 adults, £12.50 under-16s Offered in the England+ priority window only
England v Croatia, Level 2 £95 and £120 A limited number
England Women v Ukraine Adults £59, £45, £30, £25, £15 General sale from Thursday 22 October 2026
England+ membership, for early access to England tickets £20 a year Joined through the England app
Club Wembley memberships Inner Circle £2,868, Centre Circle £5,484, Number Nine £6,894, Bobby Moore £9,816, One Twenty £14,130 Prices include VAT. Each is a three-season commitment

A priority window is a short period when only some fans can buy. England home tickets go first to England Supporters Travel Club members, then to England+ members, then to everyone. England Supporters Travel Club members also get £5 off and can buy tickets capped at £25 in those windows.

Wembley’s compare page gives each Club Wembley price per seat, per season, so the three-season commitment costs three times the figure. It shows no price for a private box: you enquire. Concert prices are set for each tour.

Where is the away section at Wembley Stadium?

Wembley Stadium has no permanent away section, because it is a neutral ground: no club plays its home games there. For cup finals, semi-finals and play-off finals, the organiser decides which end each club gets and publishes it for each match.

Carabao Cup final tickets go to the two finalist clubs. They sell to their members, fans who pay a yearly fee, and to season ticket holders, fans who pay once for every home league game. Liverpool received 32,210 tickets for its final against Newcastle.

At England games, visiting fans can get their own section. Wembley is selling separate away-supporter tickets for England Women v Ukraine.

Where should families sit at Wembley Stadium?

Families should aim for the Family Enclosure at England games at Wembley Stadium, a section with its own lower prices. For England v Croatia, those seats were offered in the England+ window rather than the general sale, so join before that window opens.

Under-2s are not admitted to England matches. If someone in your group is nervous of heights, choose Level 1 over Level 5.

What accessible seating does Wembley Stadium have?

Wembley Stadium has 310 places for wheelchair users, on every level, each with a seat for a personal assistant or companion. It also offers seats with a companion seat for guests with visual, hearing or non-visible disabilities. To book, call the access ticket line on 0800 093 0824.

  • Getting in: every set of turnstiles has an accessible entrance, and lifts serve Levels 1 to 5.
  • Toilets: 147 accessible toilets, opened with a RADAR key, plus three Changing Places units.
  • Concert standing: no lift goes to the pitch, and there are at least 34 steps down. Crutches and walking sticks are allowed in seats, not in the standing area.
  • Deaf and blind fans: every concert has free British Sign Language interpretation in front of Block 123, and information booths lend audio commentary headsets.
  • Assistance dogs: welcome, with relief stations next to turnstiles B and M.
  • Sensory needs: two sensory rooms on Level 4 take 12 guests each. Apply through Wembley’s accessibility page.

How do you get to Wembley Stadium?

The easiest way to get to Wembley Stadium is by Tube or train, because three stations serve it and parking must be booked in advance. All three have step-free access.

Station Lines Worth knowing
Wembley Park Jubilee and Metropolitan lines Two Metropolitan line stops from Baker Street
Wembley Stadium Chiltern Railways One stop from London Marylebone
Wembley Central Bakerloo line, London Overground, National Rail Step-free from street to platform, but not from platform to train
  • Travelling from outside London? National Express runs direct event coaches from more than 55 UK locations.
  • Driving? Book official stadium parking in advance. Wembley is inside the ULEZ, London’s clean-air zone, which charges £12.50 a day if your vehicle does not meet the standard.
  • By bus? Routes 18, 83, 92, 182, 206, 223, 297 and 483 stop nearby.
  • Coming from abroad? Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, London City, Luton and St Pancras for Eurostar all connect to Wembley.
  • Going home? Wembley’s advice is to leave enough time for your connections, especially after a 7.45pm kick-off. The event-day taxi rank is on Engineers Way.

What can you bring into Wembley Stadium, and how do you get in?

You can bring one small bag into Wembley Stadium, no bigger than A4: 297mm high, 210mm wide and 210mm deep. A bigger bag folded over is turned away, and a handbag counts as your one bag. NFL games use the NFL’s clear bag policy instead.

  • Bag checks: these happen at an outer cordon, a security line before the turnstiles, the entry gates.
  • Your ticket: a digital pass, meaning a ticket saved in your phone’s wallet. It is scanned by QR code or by tapping your phone. Problems go to the ticket office under the Bobby Moore statue.
  • Your entrance: use the colour zone on your ticket, not the first gate you see.
  • Shopping: merchandise comes in a clear bag and is allowed in.
  • Medical equipment: ask for a Medical Exemption Certificate before the event.

What mistakes should you avoid at Wembley Stadium?

The main mistakes at Wembley Stadium are trusting an old map, expecting Level 2 food on another level, bringing cash and buying a pitch ticket without checking access.

  • Old maps: stage position and pitch sections change by tour.
  • Level 2 food: those outlets are for Level 2 tickets only, but Levels 1 and 5 have their own bars.
  • Cash: the stadium takes card and contactless only.
  • Pitch tickets: expect steps and hours on your feet.

Frequently asked questions

Is Wembley Stadium covered?

Partly. Wembley Stadium's roof covers the seating bowl, not the pitch, and the sections above the East End and West End can partly open. So seats are under cover, while the pitch is open to the sky. That includes the standing area at a concert, so dress for the weather if you hold a pitch ticket.

Which are the best seats at Wembley Stadium?

For football, the best seats at Wembley Stadium are on Level 1 along the sides, near the halfway line. Central Level 5 blocks show the whole pitch for less. For a concert with the stage at the West End, sit facing it in the East End on Level 1 or 2, or stand on the pitch to be closest.

What are the different levels of seating at Wembley Stadium?

Wembley Stadium has four kinds of level. Level 1 is the lower tier, Level 2 is the Club Wembley middle tier, Levels 3 and 4 hold private boxes, and Level 5 is the upper tier. Your block number starts with its level, so Block 218 is on Level 2 and Block 514 is on Level 5.

How is the Wembley Stadium seating plan different for concerts?

The levels stay the same at a Wembley Stadium concert, but the pitch becomes a standing area, often split into general standing and front sections such as a gold circle. The stage usually sits at the West End, so the East End faces it. Some tours put the stage in the middle of the pitch, so check your own show's map.

What is Club Wembley?

Club Wembley is the premium membership at Wembley Stadium, now sold as Experiences by Wembley Stadium. Members commit for three seasons and get the same seat at every England home game and cup final, plus hospitality, meaning food, drink and lounge access. It suits regular visitors, not someone who only wants to see one game.

How much are Club Wembley tickets?

Wembley Stadium's Experiences page lists five memberships including VAT: Inner Circle £2,868, Centre Circle £5,484, Number Nine £6,894, Bobby Moore £9,816 and One Twenty £14,130. Each is a three-season commitment. For a single game, England v Croatia had a limited number of Level 2 tickets at £95 and £120.

How much is a box at Wembley?

Wembley Stadium shows no price for a private box on its Experiences page, so you have to enquire through that website. Boxes sit on Levels 3 and 4 and are sold as whole boxes, not seat by seat. Club Wembley memberships are priced per seat, per season, with a three-season commitment.

What size bag can I take into Wembley Stadium?

You can take one small bag into Wembley Stadium, no bigger than A4: 297mm high, 210mm wide and 210mm deep. A bigger bag folded over to fit is turned away, and a handbag counts as your one bag. Bags are checked before the turnstiles. NFL games use the NFL's clear bag policy instead.

Where can I park near Wembley Stadium?

Wembley Stadium says to use only official stadium parking, booked in advance, and the Red, Green and Blue car parks surround the ground. Parking is not owned or run by the stadium. Blue badge holders book through its website. Wembley is inside London's ULEZ, which charges £12.50 a day if your vehicle does not meet the standard.

How many people fit in Wembley Stadium for a concert?

Wembley Stadium's all-seated capacity is 90,000 people. Time Out reports the maximum concert capacity as 90,000 as well, and slightly lower for shows with large stages. The number at any one concert depends on the size of that tour's stage.
