  2. Billy Bonds Stand: Along the east touchline. The largest stand, with over 20,000 seats.
  3. Sir Trevor Brooking Stand: Behind the south goal. Home fans, with away fans in the south-west part.
  4. West Stand: Along the west touchline. Home fans and Club London hospitality.

Simple plan, not to scale.

The London Stadium seating plan is an oval bowl with four stands: Bobby Moore (north), Billy Bonds (east), Sir Trevor Brooking (south) and the West Stand. Each has a lower and an upper tier, and the ground holds 62,500 for football. For the best view, sit in the lower tier on either long side, close to halfway.

London Stadium is not Wembley Stadium, which is a different ground in north-west London. West Ham games are on the West Ham tickets page, and other events are on the London Stadium tickets page.

How does the London Stadium seating plan work?

To read the London Stadium seating plan, start with your stand, then your tier, then your block. A tier is one storey of seating, cut into numbered wedges called blocks. Look on your ticket for four things: turnstile, block, row and seat. A turnstile is the entry gate you must use.

London Stadium is in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, east London, postcode E20 2ST. It began as the main stadium of the London 2012 Olympics and still has an athletics track around the pitch. West Ham United, an east London football club, moved in during 2016, so this is also the West Ham seating plan.

The track is why some seats feel further from the pitch than at a football-only ground. The lower tier can be moved, and for football it sits forward over the track. In 2020 new seating went into the north and south stands, putting some seats four metres closer.

Stand Where it is Who sits there Lower tier blocks Key feature
Bobby Moore Stand Behind the north goal Home fans 146-155 Big screen between the tiers. Lower tier close to the goal
Billy Bonds Stand Along the east touchline Home fans 130-142 The largest stand, with over 20,000 seats and a side-on view
Sir Trevor Brooking Stand Behind the south goal Home fans, with away fans in the south-west part 123-127 for home fans Big screen between the tiers
West Stand Along the west touchline Home fans and Club London hospitality guests 103-113 Side-on view. Tiers brought closer together for 2022/23

West Ham’s access statement says its accessible viewing areas are under cover, but warns that fans in the lower tiers may get wet in bad weather, depending on the wind. Bring a coat if you are low down.

How do block numbers work on the London Stadium seating plan?

London Stadium block numbers starting with 1 are in the lower tier, and numbers starting with 2 are in the upper tier. West Ham’s ticket pages, for example, list Block 123 as Sir Trevor Brooking Lower Tier and Block 221 as Sir Trevor Brooking Upper Tier. Numbers run anticlockwise from the north-west corner.

West Ham’s help centre links each turnstile to its blocks. This table dates from June 2024, so trust your ticket if it differs:

Turnstile Side of the stadium Closest bridge Blocks
A West, north end 3 103-106, 201-206
B West, centre 3 Club London hospitality
C West, south end 3 110-113, 210-217
D South-west 4 Away fans
E South 1 or 5 124-127, 221-228
F South-east 1 or 5 130-132, 229-232
G East 1 or 5 133-135, 233-235
H East 1 136-141, 236-241
J North-east 1 or 2 142-148, 242-251
K North-west 2 152-155, 252-256

A bridge is one of the five walkways over the water that lead onto the stadium’s island. For row and seat numbers, use the seat map on eTicketing, West Ham’s ticket website, which shows live availability for each game.

Where are the best seats at London Stadium?

London Stadium’s best football seats are in the lower tier of the Billy Bonds Stand or the West Stand, level with halfway. Middle rows give a little height without the distance of the upper tier. It depends what you want from the day:

  • Best for atmosphere: the lower tiers behind the goals, in the Bobby Moore and Sir Trevor Brooking Stands, among home fans at pitch level.
  • Best for value: Bands 5 and 6. A band is a price level, shown on the seat map when you buy.
  • Best for families: West Ham’s guides name no family stand, but under-18 tickets start at £10 for a Category B game. Parent and baby rooms are at Blocks 126, 134 and 152.
  • Best for comfort: Club London, West Ham’s hospitality service, with seats, food and lounges in the West Stand.
  • Not for everyone: the upper tiers behind the goals sit above the big screens and are the furthest seats from play.

How much are West Ham tickets at London Stadium?

West Ham tickets at London Stadium start at £25 for adults in 2026/27, in Bands 5 and 6 at a Category C game. Games fall into three price categories, and Preston, Stoke and Middlesbrough are in Category B. These are adult prices at the general sale, when anyone can buy:

Area Category C Category B Category A
1966 West £45 £50 £65
1966 £40 £45 £60
Band 1 £35 £40 £55
Band 2 £35 £40 £50
Band 3 £30 £35 £45
Band 4 £30 £35 £40
Bands 5 and 6 £25 £30 £35

Children and older fans pay less in Bands 1 to 6. In Bands 5 and 6, under-18s pay £10, £10 and £15 across the three categories, and over-66s pay £12, £20 and £30. In the 1966 areas every age pays the same price.

Claret & Blue members, who pay for a yearly plan, get £5 off in their early window. Add a £1 booking fee per ticket. The West Ham membership guide says when that pays off, and the West Ham season ticket guide covers seats for the whole season.

Where do away fans sit at London Stadium?

Away fans at London Stadium enter through Turnstile D in the south-west, nearest Bridge 4. West Ham’s guides do not name the stand. Football Ground Guide places the away section in the south-west of the Sir Trevor Brooking Stand, in both tiers, with just under 3,000 seats for league games. Charlton took 3,001 in August 2026.

Bridge 4 has a lift from Marshgate Lane, on the route from Pudding Mill Lane station. After the game, the area outside Turnstile D is kept for away fans, who leave on set routes to the stations and coaches. For Championship games, 19 wheelchair spaces sit at the back of the lower tier in this section.

What accessible seating does London Stadium have?

London Stadium has 261 wheelchair spaces across all four stands, according to West Ham’s 2026/27 access statement, and every wheelchair user gets a personal assistant ticket. Fans who walk with difficulty can ask for easy-access seats in the normal seating areas. To book, call 0333 030 0174 or email accessibility@westhamunited.co.uk.

Club London 12 Hospitality areas
  • Lifts: at Blocks 102, 113, 114, 132 and 141.
  • Entrances: each set of turnstiles has a dedicated accessible entrance, and Disabled Supporter Assistants wear pink tabards.
  • Getting there: a free accessible shuttle runs from inside Stratford station. Registered disabled fans can apply through the accessibility team.
  • Sensory needs: a Sensory Room is available. Ask the accessibility team.

What does the London Stadium seating plan look like for concerts?

On the London Stadium concert seating plan, the pitch turns into a standing floor and capacity climbs to 80,000. The layout changes from show to show, so look at the plan on your seller’s page before paying.

The stadium’s plan for Sam Fender in 2025 is a good example. The stage stood at the south end and the seats behind it were closed. The pitch and north-end Blocks 146-155 were unreserved standing, and everything else on sale had a reserved seat.

Area Why choose it Why you might not
Standing on the pitch The closest you can get Hours on your feet
Lower tier sides, Blocks 103-113 and 130-142 A reserved seat near the stage You watch from the side
Upper tier, north end, Blocks 245-256 The whole stage, straight on Performers look small

On that plan the West Stand also had a middle tier, Blocks M01 to M13. Going home takes time. The stadium warns that the walk back to Stratford station can take as long as 80 minutes after an event, so check your last train first.

How do you get to London Stadium?

Rail is the way to reach London Stadium, because the ground has no public car park. West Ham suggests avoiding Stratford and Stratford International, the busiest stations, if another one suits you. Walking times differ between West Ham and the stadium, so both appear here where they disagree:

Station Lines Walk Bridge
Stratford Central, Jubilee, Elizabeth line, DLR, Overground, Greater Anglia, c2c 15 to 20 minutes 1 or 5
Stratford International DLR, Southeastern high-speed trains 15 to 20 minutes 1 or 2
Pudding Mill Lane DLR, one stop from Stratford About 10 minutes 4
Hackney Wick Overground 10 to 20 minutes 3
Stratford High Street DLR About 20 minutes 5
  • Travelling from outside London? Greater Anglia and c2c trains reach Stratford directly, and Southeastern high-speed trains reach Stratford International.
  • Driving? Roads close three hours before kick-off. Chargeable parking may be available at Westfield Stratford City.
  • West Ham station? Despite the name, West Ham’s own map puts it 26 minutes’ walk away.

What happens when you arrive at London Stadium?

When you arrive at London Stadium, security checks every bag on the bridges, then you go to the turnstile on your ticket. General admission turnstiles open 90 minutes before kick-off, and West Ham asks fans to arrive at least 60 minutes before.

  • Bags: no larger than A4, with no left luggage.
  • Tickets: digital tickets are scanned by tapping your phone on the reader, a method called NFC. Printed tickets also work.
  • Payment: food, drink and programme sellers are cashless.
  • Shopping: there are no shops inside. The Stadium Store is between Turnstiles E and F.
  • Meeting friends: on event days the stadium island is open to ticket holders only, so meet outside the park.
  • Help: Supporter Liaison Officers in white tabards can guide you.

What mistakes should you avoid at London Stadium?

Most first-visit problems at London Stadium come from mixing it up with Wembley, using the wrong turnstile or carrying an oversized bag. Watch out for these:

  • Booking travel to Wembley. Check the venue name on your ticket, because the two grounds are on opposite sides of London.
  • Using the nearest gate. West Ham says your ticket is not valid at any other entrance.
  • Picking the wrong bridge. Crossing at the bridge closest to your turnstile saves a walk around the island.
  • Relying on last year’s concert plan. Stage and floor areas move between tours.

Frequently asked questions

Is London Stadium the same as Wembley Stadium?

No. London Stadium is in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, east London, and is West Ham's home. Wembley Stadium is a different ground in north-west London, with its own seating plan and transport. If you searched for a Wembley seating plan, check the venue name on your ticket before planning your route.

What's the best place to sit at London Stadium?

For football, the best place to sit at London Stadium is the lower tier of the Billy Bonds Stand or the West Stand, level with halfway. The lower tier sits forward over the athletics track, so it is much closer to the pitch. Upper-tier seats behind the goals are the furthest from play.

How do block numbers work at London Stadium?

London Stadium blocks with numbers starting with 1 are in the lower tier, and those starting with 2 are in the upper tier, running anticlockwise from the north-west corner. West Ham's help centre links them to turnstiles: Turnstile A serves 103-106 and 201-206, and Turnstile K serves 152-155 and 252-256.

How many turnstiles does London Stadium have?

London Stadium has ten lettered turnstile entrances, A to K, with no letter I. Turnstile B is for Club London hospitality guests, and Turnstile D is for away fans. Your ticket names your turnstile, and West Ham says it is not valid at any other entrance, so check it before you set off.

Can I find a map of the London Stadium to choose my seat?

Yes. West Ham's eTicketing website shows a seat map with live availability for each home game, and each block carries its price band. For concerts, the ticket seller's page shows the plan for that show, because the stage and standing areas change. Use the turnstile and block table above to find your side of the ground.

Why is West Ham playing at London Stadium?

London Stadium was built for the London 2012 Olympics, and West Ham moved there in 2016. The lower tier was rebuilt with seating that moves, so it sits closer to the pitch for football, and the West Stand was reshaped for 2022/23. All of West Ham's league home games are played there.

How long is the walk from Stratford station to the London Stadium?

The stadium says about 15 minutes, while West Ham's guide allows 20, so leave time on a busy matchday. Cross into the park by Bridge 1 or Bridge 5. Pudding Mill Lane on the DLR, one stop from Stratford, is closer at about 10 minutes and brings you in by Bridge 4.

Can you take a bag into London Stadium?

Only a small one, no bigger than A4. Every bag is searched on the bridges leading to the stadium, and there is no left-luggage service, so leave anything larger at home. Bring a card or phone to pay as well, because the food, drink and programme sellers do not take cash.

What is the capacity of London Stadium?

London Stadium has 62,500 seats when set up for football, and it holds 80,000 for concerts, including people standing on the pitch and moving between it and the lower tier. Its hospitality lounges and executive boxes hold about 3,600 people. West Ham's home games use the football layout.

Where do away fans sit at London Stadium?

Away fans enter London Stadium through Turnstile D in the south-west, nearest Bridge 4, which has a lift from Marshgate Lane. Football Ground Guide places the section in the south-west of the Sir Trevor Brooking Stand, in both tiers, with just under 3,000 seats for league games. After the game, the area outside Turnstile D is kept for them.
