Deep Purple tickets

Deep Purple's November 2026 UK dates, Newcastle to the Royal Albert Hall, are postponed due to illness: what it means for tickets.

Updated 5 Nov 2026

Deep Purple's UK tour was set for eight days in November 2026: Utilita Arena Newcastle on Wednesday 18 November, OVO Hydro in Glasgow on Thursday 19 November, bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham on Saturday 21 November and AO Arena in Manchester on Sunday 22 November, then two London nights, at Eventim Apollo on Tuesday 24 November and the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday 25 November. AEG Presents promotes the dates, and tickets go through AXS and Ticketmaster UK.

When the official pages were checked on 2 November, Eventim Apollo stated that, due to illness, Deep Purple's UK November 2026 shows have been postponed, and Ticketmaster UK listed all six as postponed. New dates are to be announced, and tickets already bought remain valid. Before the postponement, both London shows had sold out, Newcastle and Birmingham were showing low availability and Glasgow and Manchester were on general sale.

6 dates are listed below, with resale listings on Hellotickets from £119 (checked 5 Nov 2026).

How to get Deep Purple tickets

UK tour dates 2026/27

As planned, the run started in the north-east and Scotland, took in Birmingham and Manchester over the weekend, and ended with London on consecutive nights at two very different venues. All six nights are now postponed due to illness, with new dates to be announced, so the times first listed no longer apply. Keep your ticket: the postponement notices say tickets remain valid. Once new dates are set, check the time on the seller's page, as a listed time is not always the stage time, and the Hydro usually confirms exact timings only two or three days before.

Birmingham: bp pulse LIVE, not the city-centre arena

The Birmingham date was booked at bp pulse LIVE on the NEC campus at Marston Green, in Solihull just outside the city, rather than at Utilita Arena Birmingham in the centre. Birmingham International station is right next to the arena, a short train ride from New Street, and the free Air-Rail Link connects it with Birmingham Airport. Depending on the show, the floor is standing or seated blocks, with tiered blocks around the bowl.

London: Eventim Apollo and the Royal Albert Hall

Eventim Apollo, still widely known as the Hammersmith Apollo, is on Queen Caroline Street opposite the Broadway Shopping Centre, which holds Hammersmith station on the Piccadilly and District lines and the bus station. Its stalls are seated or standing depending on the event, with a floor that slopes towards the stage, and the circle has no lift: it is a long climb of stairs.

The Royal Albert Hall, booked for the next night, is seated around its central Arena, with the Stalls, the Grand Tier boxes and the Circle rising above it. Neither South Kensington nor High Street Kensington station is step-free, so the Hall's step-free suggestion is Green Park and the number 9 bus.

Newcastle, Glasgow and Manchester

Utilita Arena Newcastle, the former Metro Radio Arena, is on the banks of the Tyne near Central Station; children aged 14 or under are not allowed on its standing floor, and the balcony level has very steep steps. The OVO Hydro has Exhibition Centre station on its campus, and Manchester's AO Arena is part of the Victoria Station complex.

Prices by venue and section

Across the six dates, Deep Purple resale listings on Hellotickets start at £119 (checked 5 Nov 2026).

In October, the two dates still on general sale had the lowest-priced resale. Glasgow started lowest, with standing and Level 2 Front seats priced level, and Manchester's Lower Tier and seated floor were close behind. Birmingham's tiered seating came next, while its floor sat much higher.

The sold-out London nights were the dearest. At Eventim Apollo, the Rear Circle was the entry point, ahead of the Stalls, and Rear Stalls listings were priced far above both. At the Royal Albert Hall, the Stalls started lowest, followed by the Circle and the Arena, with the Grand Tier Boxes at the top. Newcastle, with low availability, sat between the two groups, its floor the lowest-priced area.

At face value, the bp pulse LIVE listing quoted tickets from £55 plus fees, well below the resale listings for that night. When the new dates are announced, check the official seller first, as face value is usually the cheaper route. Sellers on Hellotickets set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay.

How tickets are sold

AEG Presents promotes Deep Purple's UK dates, and the tickets are sold through AXS and Ticketmaster UK; Live Nation UK lists no UK date for the band. The official link in the table goes to the Ticketmaster UK event page for most nights, and to Eventim Apollo's own page for the Hammersmith show.

On 2 November, Ticketmaster UK marked all six dates as postponed, with the dates hidden until new ones are set, and Eventim Apollo's page said the UK November 2026 shows had been postponed due to illness, with new dates to be announced and tickets remaining valid. Before that, at the check of 21 October 2026, Ticketmaster UK showed the Royal Albert Hall sold out, with no standard tickets left, and Newcastle and Birmingham with low availability, while Glasgow and Manchester were on sale. Eventim Apollo's page showed “Sold Out” for 24 November. Other venue pages use labels such as “Buy Tickets” or “On sale now”, which do not reveal whether a night is close to selling out, so check the seller's page itself.

Resale

The two London nights had sold out before the postponement, so for them resale listings are the only route left. Hellotickets works “with official channels and a network of secure, fully verified partners” and says: “Every ticket is authenticated. If there's ever an issue, you're protected by our refund policy.” Tickets are sent as soon as Hellotickets receives them from the seller, sometimes up to 1–2 days before the event.

Frequently asked questions

How much are Deep Purple tickets?

At face value, the bp pulse LIVE listing for Birmingham quoted tickets from £55 plus fees. When are Deep Purple playing in London?

The two London nights, Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on Tuesday 24 November 2026 and the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday 25 November, have been postponed due to illness, like the rest of the UK tour. There are no current start times: due to illness, Deep Purple's UK November 2026 shows have been postponed, and new dates are still to be announced. When the rescheduled nights are listed, check the time on the official seller's page, as a listed time is not always the stage time, and the OVO Hydro usually confirms exact timings only two or three days ahead.
