The game is listed for 3pm on Sunday 13 December 2026, at Celtic Park in Parkhead, in the East End of Glasgow. That date and time come from Celtic's own fixture page, so they are not provisional, although television selections in Scotland can still move a match.
Whether it is shown live in the UK depends on the broadcasters' picks, which are confirmed in the weeks before. Check the listings, and the time printed on your ticket, before you travel.

How to get Celtic v Hibernian tickets
Celtic do not run a paid membership scheme for league tickets. The route is simpler, but the supply is tight:
- Create a Celtic FC Digital Account. It is free and required to buy and manage tickets online.
- Wait for the release. Seats left over after season ticket holders go on general sale online only, through the club's eticketing site. For reference, the home games on 18 and 28 October were released on 1 October.
- Buy on the day. Adult Premiership prices this season have started at £37 (Dundee in August) and £40 (Hearts and Dundee United in October), plus a booking fee of £1.60 per ticket.
Celtic name three other authorised sellers, Celtic FC Travel, Champions Travel and XS2Event, and the club's pages mention no official resale exchange. Hospitality is sold separately by the club. If the general sale does not happen, or sells out, seats listed on Hellotickets are the alternative: sellers set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay. More on the club's home season on Celtic tickets, and on the closed list in our Celtic Season Ticket guide.
Good to know before you go
- Open your account nowA free Celtic FC Digital Account is needed for the general sale, and league games have been released only a few weeks ahead.
- Bring a card, not cashVisiting supporters are told the kiosks take card and mobile payments only, and that bags larger than A4 are not allowed.
- Train to DalmarnockDalmarnock and Bridgeton, served from Glasgow Central and Argyle Street, are within half a mile of the ground; Bellgrove is about a mile away.
- Phone wallet ticketsSelected Celtic tickets are digital, saved to an Apple or Google wallet and scanned by NFC at the turnstile, so charge your phone.
Where to sit at Celtic Park
Parkhead is a two-tier bowl on three sides with an older stand on the fourth. The North Stand, the largest at about 27,000 seats, runs along the north touchline; the Main Stand, just under 8,000 seats, faces it on the south side. The Lisbon Lions Stand is behind the east goal and the Jock Stein Stand behind the west goal, about 13,000 each. The rail-seating section is in the Lisbon Lions Stand.
Hibs fans are housed in the south-east corner, entering through turnstiles 66-68 from Kinloch Street. On Hellotickets, "Corners" listings sit between a side stand and an end, so check one is not next to the away section; "Shortside Lower" means the lower tier behind a goal. The Celtic Park seating plan shows the blocks.
Frequently asked questions
How difficult is it to get Celtic tickets?
It can be hard. The season ticket waiting list is closed because of unprecedented demand, so only seats season ticket holders do not take reach the online general sale. For this Hibernian game, nothing has been released yet.
How early do football tickets go on sale?
At Celtic, not very early. The October home games against Hearts and Dundee United went on general sale on 1 October, a few weeks before kick-off. Expect any release for Sunday 13 December 2026 in the weeks just before the match.
How much are Celtic v Hibernian tickets?
Celtic have not priced the match. Adult league prices on general sale this season have started at £37 and £40, plus a £1.60 booking fee per ticket. Resale seats listed on Hellotickets start at £101 in the Corners (checked 5 Nov 2026).
Can I buy Celtic v Hibernian tickets without being a member?
Yes. Celtic do not sell league tickets through a paid membership; you need a free Celtic FC Digital Account to buy online when a general sale opens. Season ticket holders take most seats first, so availability depends on what is left.
Is Celtic v Hibernian sold out?
It has not gone on sale yet: the club shows not on sale yet at the official seller. If seats remain after season ticket holders, Celtic will release them in an online general sale; resale listings on Hellotickets are already available.
Where do Hibernian fans sit at Celtic Park?
Away supporters are in the south-east corner of the ground, at the Lisbon Lions Stand end, with entry through turnstiles 66-68 from Kinloch Street off London Road. Home fans should avoid resale listings in that corner.
