Trent Bridge tickets

The first Test of the 2027 Ashes at Trent Bridge: what Nottinghamshire still sells, the seven stands, trams and buses, resale prices.

Updated 5 Nov 2026

Trent Bridge, in West Bridgford, a couple of miles from Nottingham city centre, has been a cricket ground since William Clarke opened it in 1841. It is the home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, of the Trent Rockets in The Hundred and of The Blaze, and it has seated 17,500 since its 2007-08 redevelopment.

The ground opens the 2027 men's Ashes with the first Test against Australia, from Friday 18 to Tuesday 22 June 2027. Nottinghamshire sold it to members first, in windows by tenure on 3, 6 and 12 August 2026, then through a free public ballot from 2 to 29 September, with a window for We Are England Cricket Supporters on 23 September. Ballot winners could buy from 6 October, and the general sale opened on 14 October.

By then general admission for days one to four had sold out. On 20 October, day one showed no availability at Trent Bridge, and for days two to four a number of seats remained in members-only areas (the Pavilion, Hound Road Lower and the centre of the Radcliffe Road Middle tier), limited to one ticket per 2027 Nottinghamshire membership. The general sale still had day five tickets, a day our list below does not include.

Hellotickets lists resale seats for the days below from £286 (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Earliest date listed: England v Australia - 1st Rothesay Ashes Test Match - 1 on Friday 18 June.

Seating plan and stands

The two ends, behind the bowler's arm, are the Radcliffe Road End and the Stuart Broad End, where the Pavilion stands; the rest of the ground sits side-on to the pitch:

  • Radcliffe Road Stand: upper, middle and lower tiers at the Radcliffe Road End, part of them designated family seating. The players' dressing rooms moved here during the 2026 Pavilion works.
  • Pavilion: the members' pavilion at the Stuart Broad End, called the Pavilion End until 2023. It is being redeveloped, and the club says members will be able to use the new facilities in summer 2027.
  • Hound Road Stand: upper and lower tiers beside the Pavilion, along Hound Road, and home of the Derek Randall Suite.
  • Larwood & Voce Stand: between the Hound Road and Acrisure Stands, given over to members' seating at internationals.
  • Acrisure Stand: side-on along Fox Road. The former Fox Road Stand opened in 2002 with a wing-shaped roof and was renamed in 2025; it has no lift, so entry is by steps only.
  • William Clarke Stand: square of the wicket, next to the Trent Bridge Inn courtyard, between the Radcliffe Road and Bridgford Road Stands.
  • Bridgford Road Stand: opposite the Acrisure Stand. Built in 2008 and known first as the New Stand, then as the Smith Cooper Stand, it is the family stand, with an area set aside for people who do not want to drink alcohol.

Steps without handrails are found in the Bridgford Road Stand, the lower Hound Road tier and the middle and lower Radcliffe Road tiers. Flags are allowed only without poles.

Older listings may still call the Acrisure Stand the Fox Road Stand, and some resale listings use short codes such as SC2 or WC3, so check which stand a code refers to before you pay. Our Trent Bridge seating plan shows where each stand sits.

Getting there

From the city centre you cross the River Trent to reach the ground (NG2 6AG):

  • Rail: Nottingham station is about a 20-minute walk, towards West Bridgford and over the river bridge, and regular buses run the same way.
  • Tram: the Queens Walk and Meadows Embankment stops are about 20 minutes on foot, the second along the river. Free park and ride runs from Clifton South (17 minutes by tram) and Toton Lane (31 minutes).
  • Bus: stops on Bridgford Road and Radcliffe Road, with Trent Barton's Mainline between Nottingham and West Bridgford every ten minutes.
  • Car: for international matches, parking at Bridge Field (NG2 6AP), a few hundred yards away, must be booked in advance, and there is paid parking on Victoria Embankment, reached via Queens Drive and Riverside Way.
  • Taxi: the rank is 200 yards from the ground on Bridgford Road.

Travel light, as only small bags are allowed and every bag is searched at entry. Your own food and non-alcoholic drinks are fine, but no alcohol may be brought in for international cricket, nothing in glass is allowed and beer snakes are banned. Bars and food stalls take card or mobile payment only.

You can leave and come back during the day: check in with a steward on your way out so that you are let back in.

Hospitality

The club sells its hospitality through its own hospitality site, with shared hospitality spaces and private boxes for 12 guests, and the Derek Randall Suite in the Hound Road Stand. For the Ashes Test, the adult price list for days one to three ran from £90 in Cat 4 of the Pavilion, a members' area, to £250 in the Century Club, with Cat 3 at £99; on day four, Cat 4 started at £70 and Cat 3 cost £85.
