The Darkness tickets

The Darkness play seven UK dates between 8 and 16 December 2026, from OVO Hydro in Glasgow to The O2 in London.

Updated 5 Nov 2026

The Darkness spend the middle of December 2026 on a short, tightly packed UK run: seven shows in nine days, opening at OVO Hydro in Glasgow on Tuesday 8 December and closing at The O2 in London on Wednesday 16 December. Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and Brighton fill the days between.

Ticketmaster UK sells every date. When its artist page was read on 31 October 2026, all seven were on sale, with Leeds flagged as low availability; by 2 November, Birmingham carried the same flag.

Resale listings on Hellotickets start at £81 across the 7 dates (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Next date: The Darkness Glasgow on Tuesday 8 December.

How to get The Darkness tickets

UK tour dates 2026/27

Apart from a gap after Leeds and another after Cardiff, the run plays night after night: Glasgow on the Tuesday, Leeds on Wednesday 9 December, Manchester on Friday 11, Birmingham on Saturday 12, Cardiff on Sunday 13, then Brighton on Tuesday 15 and London the following evening. None is a matinée. Glasgow is listed for 6.30pm and every other date for 6pm; check your ticket for door and stage times.

Glasgow and Leeds

At OVO Hydro, the seats rise in levels: Level 0 at ground level, Level 2 in the middle and Level 3 as the upper tier. The rear of Level 2 and all of Level 3 are reached by stairs, because the lifts serve only the first two concourses, which matters if anyone in your group has mobility difficulties. The station to use is Exhibition Centre, on the campus itself, from Glasgow Central. In Leeds, First Direct Arena sits behind the Merrion Centre and has no car park of its own; its standing floor admits no under-14s.

Manchester

AO Arena, officially Manchester Arena, is part of the Victoria Station complex, so you can walk from the station to the arena's City Room entrance, with a lift up to bridge level, and Metrolink trams stop at Victoria too. Your ticket names the best entrance for your block. The floor is closed to under-14s at standing shows, mobile tickets must be shown live on your phone rather than as screenshots, and there is no re-admission.

Birmingham, Cardiff, Brighton and London

Utilita Arena Birmingham sits by the canal opposite Brindleyplace and is a mobile-only venue; under-14s must be with an adult aged 18 or over. Cardiff's arena is on Mary Ann Street, a few minutes' walk from Cardiff Central. The Brighton Centre stands on Kings Road, on the seafront, about ten minutes on foot from Brighton station, with standing on the main floor and seats on the balconies at standing shows. At The O2, North Greenwich on the Jubilee line is the station, and tickets live in the venue's app.

Prices by venue and section

Resale for The Darkness starts at £81 on Hellotickets (checked 5 Nov 2026).

Glasgow had the flattest prices of the tour at the October check: Level 2 Rear and Level 3 opened the market together, and Standing and the three tiers were all close behind. Manchester and Brighton were similarly tight, with seats and standing a short step apart. Leeds and Birmingham showed more spread. In Leeds the Lower tier started lowest, the Floor sat higher and the Middle tier highest; in Birmingham the Upper and Lower Tiers came first, with Standing and Floor Standing well above.

London turned the usual order around. At The O2, Floor Standing was where listings began, with the Lower Tier close behind and the Upper level dearer. Two premium areas sat at the top: The Deck, the venue's rows of bar-stool seats on Level 1, and a Terrace listing above it. Cardiff had two standing labels, Standing and General Admission, priced quite differently, so compare both before you choose.

Every date was still on sale at Ticketmaster UK when checked, and face value there is usually below resale. On Hellotickets, sellers set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay.

How tickets are sold

Ticketmaster UK is the official seller for all seven dates, and the statuses here come from its artist page for The Darkness, read on 31 October 2026.

  1. Presales came first, listed as OVO Presale, Gigs in Scotland Presale, Ticketmaster Presale, Artist Presale and Venue Presale.
  2. General sale then opened date by date between 28 November 2025 and 29 June 2026, the earliest at 10am UK time.

The sale is therefore open everywhere; Ticketmaster flagged low availability for Leeds on 31 October and for Birmingham on 2 November. A sold-out flag, if one appears, means no standard tickets remain on Ticketmaster. Venue Premium packages are listed as separate Ticketmaster events and are not part of those statuses.

Venue ticketing partners

Ticketmaster is the ticketing partner of both AO Arena and OVO Hydro, so Manchester and Glasgow buyers deal with one seller. The O2's website sends buyers to AXS, which also partners the Leeds arena and Utilita Arena Birmingham, where AXS Official Resale is the venue's resale route. For Leeds and Birmingham, the low-availability dates, it is worth checking AXS as well.

Resale in the run-up to Christmas

With every show in mid-December, leave time for delivery if you buy resale. Hellotickets sends tickets as soon as it receives them from the seller, sometimes up to 1–2 days before the event, and states: “Every ticket is authenticated. If there's ever an issue, you're protected by our refund policy.”
