A single Saturday in May, with no matinée. The 6.30pm on the listing matches The O2's usual door time, so check your ticket for when the show itself begins, and allow for a late finish: most events at the arena end by 11pm.

Inside The O2

The layout of The O2 changes with each show. At standing shows the main floor is general admission standing; at seated ones it holds flat floor seating, and the venue notes that most people stand during events anyway. Level 1, the lower tier, rings the floor; the suites take Levels 2 and 3; Level 4 is the highest tier.

One area is particular to this arena: The Deck, premium rows of bar-stool seats on Level 1. The OVO Lounges are on the same level, and Premium at The O2 also sells suites and single-event experiences.

Arriving and leaving

North Greenwich, on the Jubilee line, serves the arena, and several bus routes stop at the station. Two other ways onto the Greenwich Peninsula make a change from the Tube: the Uber Boat river bus to North Greenwich Pier and the IFS Cloud Cable Car. Drivers have to pre-book on-site parking for event days. Stepping outside mid-show is not an option either: re-admission is not allowed once your ticket has been scanned.

October's listings put Level 4 at the bottom of the price range, whether labelled “Upper” or “Upper Tier”. The floor was next, then Level 1, where “Lower” and “Lower Tier” listings cost almost the same.

The Deck sat far above every other area, so filter it out if you are looking for a standard seat.

For access needs, The O2 asks for a Nimbus Access card to book accessible tickets. Platforms for wheelchair users, with fold-down seats, are spread around the bowl, though not every platform is in use for every stage layout.

What you pay on Hellotickets is up to each seller and can exceed face value, but the final price appears before payment. As long as Ticketmaster UK has seats, its face-value price normally wins.

Getting in

Whoever you buy from, the ticket must be in The O2 venue app on the night; a screenshot will not get you in. Payment inside is by card only, and anything bigger than an A4 bag or a standard handbag is refused, though there is paid storage just outside the main entrance. Bring photo ID as well, because some events ask for ID that matches the name on the ticket.

If the date sells out

If Ticketmaster marks the date sold out, its standard tickets are gone and resale is the remaining option. On Hellotickets, the promise is: “Every ticket is authenticated. If there's ever an issue, you're protected by our refund policy.” Delivery happens as soon as Hellotickets receives the tickets from the seller, sometimes up to 1–2 days before the event.
