Is James Blunt touring in 2027?

Yes, James Blunt is touring the UK in 2027 on the Airplane Mode Tour, named after his eighth studio album. Airplane Mode is out on 6 November 2026. First Direct Bank Arena in Leeds, where the tour opens, says the show mixes his hits with new material.

James Blunt is a singer-songwriter with a career spanning over two decades, according to his website. It says his debut album, Back To Bedlam, shifted over 17.5 million copies.

The O2 lists “plus special guests”, the support acts who play first, but named nobody on 31 October 2026. The venue pages also give no set list, the running order of songs.

How do you buy James Blunt tickets?

You buy James Blunt tickets online from the seller linked on each venue’s event page, which is Ticketmaster UK for most dates. General sale, the sale open to everyone, began at 10am on 9 September 2026. The artist, promoter and venue presales, early sales for smaller groups, have all ended.

  1. Pick a night from the table, and a second choice.
  2. Start on the venue’s event page, because the seller changes by city.
  3. Compare two sellers in London and Leeds. The O2 and First Direct Bank Arena both name AXS, another ticket company, as their ticket partner, and Ticketmaster lists those nights too.
  4. Check the ticket limit. OVO Hydro allows 6 per person.
  5. Look for your ticket on your phone. At The O2, it must stay in The O2 app, as screenshots are refused.

How much are James Blunt tour 2027 tickets?

James Blunt tour 2027 tickets start from £50 plus fees at First Direct Bank Arena in Leeds and bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham. Those were the lowest official prices published on 31 October 2026. Fees are charges added on top, so compare the total at checkout.

Venue From What the price covers
First Direct Bank Arena, Leeds £50 Plus fees
bp pulse LIVE, Birmingham £50 Plus fees
OVO Hydro, Glasgow £52.75 Includes the admin fee, plus fulfilment, the delivery charge
OVO Hydro, Venue Premium seats £89.10 Includes the admin fee, plus fulfilment
Other venues Not printed The seller shows the price when you pick a seat

Several arenas sell extras as separate listings. Leeds, Newcastle and Glasgow have Venue Premium tickets, and Belfast has a Share a Suite package. bp pulse LIVE lists three lounge packages with priority entry and a premium seat, but no prices.

These suit a special occasion. They are not worth it if you only want a good view of the stage, so read what each one includes.

Can you see James Blunt in a small venue?

Yes, you can see James Blunt in a small venue before the arena tour. He plays two acoustic sets at Circuit in Kingston upon Thames on Wednesday 11 November 2026, to celebrate the album.

Circuit is the club on Clarence Street formerly known as Pryzm, a short walk from the mainline station. It is far smaller than any arena on the spring tour, so it suits fans who want to be close.

Banquet Records runs the shows, and you get entry by pre-ordering the album on CD or LP:

  • 7pm show: sold out at Banquet Records when checked on 28 October 2026. James Blunt is due on stage at 8pm.
  • 5pm show: added after demand, and on pre-order on 27 October 2026. Stage time 6pm.
  • Ages: everyone needs a ticket. Ages 14 and over can go alone, 8 to 13 year olds need a ticket-holding adult aged 18 or over, and under-8s are not admitted.
  • Your ticket: an e-ticket, a ticket sent by email, typically the day before.

Which James Blunt night should you choose?

The easiest James Blunt nights to book are Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester and London, which showed no low-availability label on 31 October 2026. Start with the closest of those.

  • Want a weekend? Saturday 3 April at Co-op Live and Sunday 4 April at The O2 both showed no low-availability label.
  • Living on the south coast? Bournemouth has gone, and Brighton and Cardiff show low availability, so London is the nearest night without that label.
  • Living in Yorkshire, the Midlands or the north-east? Leeds, Birmingham and Newcastle all show low availability, so Manchester is your backup.
  • Living in Scotland? Glasgow on Friday 2 April is the only Scottish date.

Can children go to a James Blunt concert?

Children can go to James Blunt concerts with an adult, but the age rules differ by venue. The stricter rule is at OVO Hydro, where under-16s need an adult. Check your venue before you buy.

Venue Layout and age rule
First Direct Bank Arena, Leeds Seated show. Under-14s need an adult aged 18 or over
bp pulse LIVE, Birmingham In seats, under-14s need an adult aged 18 or over. No under-14s on a standing floor, and 14 and 15 year olds need an adult there
OVO Hydro, Glasgow Under-16s need an adult aged 18 or over
Brighton Centre Seating only. Under-14s need an adult

Disabled fans book through each venue’s own route:

  • Leeds: wheelchair and ambulant tickets, for people who walk but need easier access, are online through AXS.
  • Glasgow: book online, or call OVO Hydro’s access line on 0141 576 3230, Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm.
  • London: The O2 says accessible tickets are booked with the Access Card from Nimbus Disability.

How do you get to the James Blunt venues?

You get to most James Blunt venues by train, tram or Tube, but a few are not where you might expect. These are the ones to plan:

  • The O2 Belfast: the Titanic Quarter arena formerly called the SSE Arena. It is a short walk over the Queen Elizabeth Bridge from the city centre, and Glider buses stop outside.
  • bp pulse LIVE, Birmingham: on the NEC site beside Birmingham International station, ten to fifteen minutes by train from New Street.
  • Co-op Live, Manchester: trams from the Etihad Campus stop run until 1am on Saturdays, which suits this date.
  • OVO Hydro, Glasgow: Exhibition Centre station is three minutes from Glasgow Central’s low level.
  • First Direct Bank Arena, Leeds: small bags only, and no cloakroom.
  • The O2, London: North Greenwich station, on the Jubilee line of the Tube.
  • Brighton Centre: the venue says its curfew, the time the building closes, is usually 11pm, so book your train home with care.

Choosing seats? See the First Direct Arena seating plan and the OVO Hydro seating plan. For other shows at those arenas, see First Direct Arena tickets and OVO Hydro tickets.

What are the usual mistakes when buying James Blunt tickets?

The usual mistakes with James Blunt tickets are choosing the wrong building and misreading a listing.

  • Mixing up the two O2s. The O2 Belfast has nothing to do with The O2 in London.
  • Mixing up Birmingham’s arenas. This tour plays bp pulse LIVE, not the arena in the city centre.
  • Treating a listed time as a stage time. OVO Hydro says event times are still to be announced.
  • Buying a package by accident. Premium tickets sit next to standard ones, each with its own availability.

What if your James Blunt date is sold out?

If your James Blunt date is sold out, as Bournemouth is at Ticketmaster, try the seller’s own resale first. On Ticketmaster’s resale, fans list tickets they cannot use at the price they paid or less. Other resale listings for each night are on the James Blunt dates page.

What to do now (as of 31 October 2026)
