At a glance
- Craven Cottage has 28,107 places in four stands and a pavilion, on the Premier League Handbook's figure for 2026/27.
- For noise, sit in the Hammersmith End. For a side-on view, pick the middle of the Johnny Haynes Stand or The Riverside. Families use blocks A, AL, K and KL.
- Adult tickets start at £38 for Category C and £69 for Category A+, in blocks H1 and H8. Family areas cost £36, or £26 for a Family Game.
- Away fans sit in the Putney End, usually blocks P5 and P6. Fulham sells P1 to P4 to home fans, so a Putney End seat is not always an away seat.
- Bags can be no bigger than A4. For a 3pm game, The Riverside opens at midday, two stands at 1pm and the Putney End at 1.30pm.
- The Riverside: Long side by the Thames. Bronze to Platinum areas, with most hospitality.
- Hammersmith End: Home end behind the goal. Blocks H1 to H8, and the loudest fans.
- Johnny Haynes Stand: Long side on Stevenage Road. Blocks A to K above, AL to KL below.
- Putney End: Behind the goal. Home blocks P1 to P4, away fans usually P5 and P6.
Simple plan, not to scale.
The Craven Cottage seating plan shows four stands and a pavilion, in a ground that holds 28,107 people. The Hammersmith End is the loud home end, and the Putney End is shared with away fans. The Johnny Haynes Stand and The Riverside run along the touchlines, and families sit in blocks A, AL, K and KL.
Upcoming games, and how each one is being sold, are on the Fulham tickets page.
How does the Craven Cottage seating plan work?
The Craven Cottage seating plan splits the ground into stands, then blocks, then rows and seats. Craven Cottage is the home of Fulham, a Premier League club, on Stevenage Road in west London, SW6 6HH. It sits between the River Thames and Bishop’s Park, and the Premier League Handbook for 2026/27 gives a capacity of 28,107.
A stand is a whole side of the ground, and a block is a labelled section of that stand. A touchline is one of the two long sides of the pitch.
| Stand | Where it is | Who sits there | Blocks | Size |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hammersmith End | Behind the north goal | Home fans only | H1 to H8 | 7,568 seats in 55 rows |
| Putney End | Behind the south goal, by Bishop’s Park | Home and away fans, in separate sections | P1 to P4 home, usually P5 and P6 away | 6,230 seats in 52 rows |
| Johnny Haynes Stand | Along Stevenage Road | Home fans only, with a family area at each end | Upper A to K, lower AL to KL | 5,929 seats in 31 rows |
| The Riverside | Along the Thames | Fulham fans and hospitality guests | Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum Lower and Platinum Upper | Two tiers, rebuilt after the 2019/20 season |
| The Cottage | Corner by the Johnny Haynes Stand and Putney End | Balcony seats | None | 72 seats in the 1905 pavilion |
How do you read the rows at Craven Cottage?
Craven Cottage rows use letters and numbers, and each stand has its own pattern. The stairs reach the seats at a set row, which helps you get your bearings.
- Hammersmith End: the front row is 2 in the central blocks, the back row is XX, and the stairs enter at row HH.
- Putney End: the front row is A in P2, P3, P5 and P6, and B in P1 and P4. The back row is ZZ, and the stairs enter at row JJ.
- Johnny Haynes lower tier: rows run from 1 at the front to JJ at the back.
- Johnny Haynes upper tier: rows run from A at the front to R at the back.
For seat numbers, use the club’s Digital Seating Map. It shows a 3D view from any seat, though the club says the images are for illustration only.
How much does each part of Craven Cottage cost?
Craven Cottage adult tickets cost from £38 outside the family areas in 2026/27, and the price depends on your block and the game’s category. The club puts each game in a price band, called a category, and says which on the ticket notice. These are full adult prices:
| Where | A+ | A | B | C | Family Game |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hammersmith H1 and H8 | £69 | £63 | £50 | £38 | £31 |
| Hammersmith H2 and H7 | £74 | £68 | £56 | £43 | £31 |
| Hammersmith H3 to H6, and Putney P1 to P4 | £79 | £73 | £61 | £48 | £36 |
| Johnny Haynes family areas A, AL, K and KL | £36 | £36 | £36 | £36 | £26 |
| Johnny Haynes B to D and G to J, both tiers | £85 | £79 | £67 | £54 | £42 |
| Johnny Haynes E, EL, F and FL | £109 | £97 | £85 | £73 | £61 |
| The Riverside Bronze | £150 | £120 | £100 | £80 | £60 |
| The Riverside Silver, Gold and Platinum | £160 | £125 | £105 | £85 | £65 |
Over-65s, ages 18 to 21 and juniors pay less. In blocks H1 and H8, a Category C seat is £38 for an adult, £32 for those two groups and £26 for a junior.
Members get £10 off one ticket in The Riverside and £5 off elsewhere, and home games go on sale to them first. The Fulham membership guide explains the sale order. Season tickets for 2026/27 have sold out, as the Fulham season ticket guide explains.
Where is the best place to sit at Craven Cottage?
The best place to sit at Craven Cottage is the Hammersmith End for noise and the middle of the Johnny Haynes Stand or The Riverside for a side-on view. Your choice depends on what you want from the day.
- Best for atmosphere: the back and centre of the Hammersmith End, where the club says many of its loudest fans sit.
- Best for the view: Johnny Haynes blocks E, EL, F and FL, in the middle of the stand. The club also says the top tier of The Riverside has some of the best seats in the house.
- Best for history: the upper tier of the Johnny Haynes Stand. Built in 1905 to an Archibald Leitch design, it is Grade II listed and still has wooden seats.
- Best for a long day out: The Riverside. It opens first, has the widest choice of food and drink, and looks out over the Thames.
- Best for value: Hammersmith blocks H1 and H8, the lowest adult prices outside the family areas.
- Best with children: the family areas, at £36 for an adult at most games.
- Closest to the action: the Johnny Haynes Stand, says the club, though roof columns block part of the view from some seats.
- First visit? Pick the Hammersmith End for the singing, or The Riverside for more to do before kick-off.
Fulham try to shoot towards the Hammersmith goal in the second half, so that end sees plenty of action late on.
Which seats at Craven Cottage have a restricted view?
Craven Cottage seats count as restricted view when a permanent fixture blocks your view of either goalmouth. These seats are £2 off for adults this season. The club says the age of the ground means there are several around the stadium.
Some other seats have a pole or railing that hides part of the pitch. They get no discount, but the club says the view from most of them is still very good. Roof columns in the Johnny Haynes Stand are the main cause.
Do this before you book: check the seat in the Digital Seating Map, or ask the Ticket Office about it.
Which seats are covered at Craven Cottage?
Craven Cottage has no roof over the front rows at both ends. Rows 2 to 6 of the Hammersmith End and rows A to E of the Putney End are uncovered, so dress for the weather or sit further back.
Where do away fans sit at Craven Cottage?
Away fans at Craven Cottage sit in the Putney End, usually in blocks P5 and P6. The club caps the away allocation at 2,700 tickets and sells them only through the visiting club, so buy from your own club.
- Getting in: away entrances are on Stevenage Road, on the side closest to Bishop’s Park. The Putney End opens 90 minutes before a 3pm kick-off.
- Sharing the stand: home and away seats are separate, but the concourse, the walkway behind the seats, is shared.
- Drinks: Putney End bars stop serving alcohol 10 minutes before kick-off and start again 15 minutes before half-time.
- Coaches: official away coaches park on Fulham Palace Road. Allow 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the turnstiles, the entry gates.
Fulham sells P1 to P4 to home fans at the same prices as the centre of the Hammersmith End. The area next to the pavilion is known as Cottage Corner.
Where should families sit at Craven Cottage?
Families at Craven Cottage should sit in blocks A, AL, K or KL, the family areas at each end of the Johnny Haynes Stand. Adults pay £36 there for Categories A+ to C, and £26 for a Family Game.
- Family Zone: this is on the Block K concourse and opens up to an hour and a half before kick-off. It has mascots Billy and Bella the Badger, PlayStation consoles, and free face painting and balloon modelling. It is only for fans seated in the family areas.
- Age rules: under-14s must be with a responsible adult over 18, and the club advises the same for under-16s.
- Young children: the club suggests ear protectors, and staying in your seats for 5 to 10 minutes at full time.
- If you get separated: give your child a card with their name and an adult’s phone number, and go to the nearest steward.
- Pushchairs: these are assessed for each event. The left-luggage service will take one.
What accessible seating does Craven Cottage have?
Craven Cottage has wheelchair bays in all four stands, and disabled tickets are booked through the Ticket Office, not online. Call 0203 871 0810 and choose option 2, or go in person. A friend or personal assistant can apply for you, with your Client Reference Number and registered address.
| Stand | Wheelchair bays |
|---|---|
| Johnny Haynes Stand | Blocks AL and KL |
| Hammersmith End | Blocks H1 and H2 |
| Putney End | Blocks P2 and P3 for home fans, P6 for away fans |
| The Riverside | Blocks R01, R02, R03, R06, R07 and R08 |
- Getting in: use Gate 50 for Block AL and the Cottage Gate for Block KL.
- Help on the day: the Access team wears green jackets. For extra help, go to Gate 1, left of the red-brick turnstile block.
- Changing Places: this fully equipped room is at Level 0 of The Riverside, near R08, and opens with a Radar key.
- Parking: free spaces for disabled fans are at Fulham College Boys’ School, Kingwood Road, SW6 6SN, with a shuttle bus. Reserve from 7 days before the game through the Disability Liaison Officer.
- Big bag for medical needs? Apply for an exemption at enquiries@fulhamfc.com before you go.
How do you get to Craven Cottage?
The easiest way to get to Craven Cottage is the District line to Putney Bridge, then a walk through Bishop’s Park. There is no car park at the stadium. Kick-offs are shown in UK time.
| Station | Line | Distance | Walk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Putney Bridge | District | 0.7 miles | 10 to 20 minutes |
| Putney | South Western Railway | 1.2 miles | 17 to 35 minutes |
| Fulham Broadway | District | 1.3 miles | 20 to 40 minutes |
| Hammersmith | Hammersmith & City, Circle, Piccadilly, District | 1.4 miles | 20 to 40 minutes |
From Putney Bridge, turn left out of the station along Ranelagh Gardens, go through the underpass into Bishop’s Park, and follow the river. Despite its name, Fulham Broadway is not the closest station, and even Parsons Green is a little nearer.
- Coming from elsewhere in the UK? The District line runs from Paddington, Victoria, Blackfriars and Cannon Street stations. Trains from Waterloo reach Putney in 13 minutes.
- By bus: take the 220 from Hammersmith, or the 74, 424 or 220 from Putney, to Fulham Palace Road.
- By car: on matchdays, non-residents can only stay one hour in pay and display bays between 9am and 9.30pm.
- By bike: racks are in Bishop’s Park, behind the Putney End.
What should you know on matchday at Craven Cottage?
On matchday at Craven Cottage, each stand opens at a different time, and you must carry a bag no bigger than A4. Aim to be inside 45 minutes before kick-off, as the club advises. This is the order for a 3pm game:
- Midday: The Riverside opens, and hospitality guests get in from 12.30pm.
- 1pm: the Hammersmith End and Johnny Haynes Stand open.
- 1.30pm: the Putney End opens.
- 2.15pm: the players warm up, so watch out for stray footballs in the front rows.
- Tickets: your ticket is an NFC pass, a digital ticket kept in your phone wallet.
- Bags: one per person, up to 297mm x 210mm x 210mm. Bags are checked and tagged.
- Bag lanes: use turnstiles 20, 23, 24 and 29 for the Johnny Haynes Stand, and 38, 39 and 47 for the Hammersmith End. Riverside fans should use the Hammersmith bag lanes where possible.
- Left luggage: this costs £5, card only, at Ormiston Bridge Academy on Greswell Street. It opens 2.5 hours before kick-off.
- Paying: cards and phones only inside the ground.
- Bottles: you can bring an empty soft plastic bottle of 500ml or less, without its top, and fill it inside. Hard bottles, cans and flasks are banned.
- Standing: persistent standing is not allowed, so sit during play.
- Flags: small flags are fine with no poles, up to 150cm across. Larger ones need a fire certificate.
Want to see the players arrive? Fulham’s first team usually reach the Cottage Gate on Stevenage Road about 100 minutes before kick-off.
What mistakes should you avoid at Craven Cottage?
The main Craven Cottage mistakes are using the wrong station, assuming a Putney End ticket is an away ticket and bringing a bag that is too big.
- Getting off at Fulham Broadway. Putney Bridge is much closer.
- Buying a home seat in the Putney End by accident. Check your block, because P1 to P4 are for Fulham fans.
- Forgetting the weather. Front rows at both ends have no roof.
- Assuming every blocked view costs less. Only seats that lose sight of a goalmouth get money off.
- Folding a big bag. The size rule applies to the bag itself, even if it is half empty.
- Arriving late at the Hammersmith End with a bag. Bag lanes are at set turnstiles, so allow extra time.
What to do now (as of 31 October 2026)

Frequently asked questions
Where do away fans sit at Craven Cottage?
Away fans sit in the Putney End, the stand behind the south goal by Bishop's Park, usually in blocks P5 and P6. The allocation is capped at 2,700 and sold only through the visiting club. Entrances are on Stevenage Road, and visiting wheelchair users sit in Block P6.
Which is the home end at Craven Cottage?
The Hammersmith End is the home end, behind the north goal, and it is for home fans only. The club says many of its loudest supporters sit towards the back and centre. It has blocks H1 to H8, with 7,568 seats in 55 rows, and it opens two hours before kick-off.
What is the capacity of Craven Cottage?
The Premier League Handbook for 2026/27 lists Craven Cottage at 28,107. That covers the Hammersmith End, Putney End, Johnny Haynes Stand, The Riverside and 72 seats in the Cottage pavilion. The Riverside was rebuilt after the 2019/20 season as part of the Fulham Pier development.
Which seats at Craven Cottage have a restricted view?
A seat is officially restricted when a permanent fixture blocks your view of either goalmouth, and adults get £2 off. Seats where a pole or railing hides part of the pitch get no discount. In the Johnny Haynes Stand, roof columns cause most of these, so check the Digital Seating Map first.
Which seats are covered at Craven Cottage?
The front rows at both ends have no roof: rows 2 to 6 of the Hammersmith End and rows A to E of the Putney End. Further back in either end, you are under cover. The club advises anyone in a seat marked as uncovered to dress for the weather.
Where should I sit at Craven Cottage with children?
Sit in the family areas: blocks A, AL, K and KL of the Johnny Haynes Stand. The Family Zone on the Block K concourse has mascots, consoles and free face painting before kick-off. Under-14s must be with an adult over 18, and adults pay £36 for most games there.
Is there a Craven Cottage seating plan with seat numbers?
Yes, in a way. Fulham's Digital Seating Map lets you click into each block and see a 3D view from any seat, though the club says the images are for illustration only. The Ticket Office can also advise on the view from a seat before you book.
What is the closest station to Craven Cottage?
Putney Bridge on the District line is the closest, 0.7 miles or 10 to 20 minutes on foot through Bishop's Park. Putney station is the closest National Rail station, 1.2 miles away. Despite its name, Fulham Broadway is not the closest Tube, at 1.3 miles from the ground.
What size bag can I take into Craven Cottage?
You can take one bag per person, no larger than A4, which the club sets at 297mm x 210mm x 210mm. Bags are checked and tagged at entry. Larger bags go to the left-luggage service at Ormiston Bridge Academy on Greswell Street, which costs £5, card only.
Can you stand at Craven Cottage?
Not all game. Fulham says fans may stand during exciting moments, but persistent standing is not permitted, because it blocks the view of older fans and children. The club asks everyone to stay seated during play. This applies across the ground, including the Hammersmith End.
