Rick Astley tickets

Almost six months separate the two shows. London comes first, on Wednesday 9 December 2026 with a listed time of 6.45pm, in the run-up to Christmas. Halifax follows on Friday 28 May 2027, listed at 6pm. Both are evening shows, and neither is a matinée.

The Royal Albert Hall

The Hall stands on Kensington Gore in South Kensington, by Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Its layout matters when you pick a resale ticket, because each level is sold as a separate section:

• Arena: the central floor in front of the stage, laid out in seated rows for a standard seated show.
• Stalls: numbered seats in rows at stalls level, together with the Choir, which is split into East and West sections.
• Grand Tier and Second Tier: the boxes; a Grand Tier box holds 12 seats.
• Circle: the seated Rausing Circle, on the upper levels.
• Gallery: the top level, where places are unreserved standing.

South Kensington, on the Circle, District and Piccadilly lines, and High Street Kensington, on the Circle and District lines, are the closest stations, but neither is step-free. The step-free option is Green Park, then the number 9 bus, which stops at the Hall on Kensington Gore.

The Piece Hall, Halifax

The May date is at the Piece Hall in Halifax and is sold by Live Nation UK. Every resale listing for it is general admission, so the choice there is about price rather than position.

The Royal Albert Hall has much the wider spread, because its sections are so different. At the last check, the Gallery, the standing level at the top of the Hall, started lowest by a distance. The Circle came next, then the Arena floor, while the Stalls and the Second Tier boxes started at the same, much higher level, and the Grand Tier boxes started highest of all.

In Halifax, general admission listings started above the London Gallery but below every seated section of the Hall, and a second general admission listing started much higher.

Halifax is still on sale at Live Nation UK, and face value there is usually the cheaper route. For both dates, sellers on Hellotickets set their own prices, which can be above face value, and the final price is shown before you pay.

These shows have more than one official outlet: the venue box offices, Ticketmaster UK and, for Halifax, Live Nation UK. This is how each date stood on 21 October:

• Royal Albert Hall, 9 December 2026: sold out at Ticketmaster UK, with only resale tickets offered there, if any. The date is not on Live Nation UK. The Hall's own box office also sells it, and its booking pages could not be read at the last check, so look there as well as at Ticketmaster UK.
• Piece Hall Halifax, 28 May 2027: on general sale at Live Nation UK, which was showing 'Get tickets'.

Neither show has an on-sale date still to come: London has sold out at Ticketmaster UK and Halifax is already on general sale.

Resale for the London night

With the Ticketmaster UK allocation gone, resale is the main route into the Royal Albert Hall show. Choose by level first: a Gallery ticket gives you a standing place rather than a seat, while the Circle, the Stalls and the boxes are seated. Then check the delivery details of the listing.

In Hellotickets' words, “Every ticket is authenticated. If there's ever an issue, you're protected by our refund policy.” Tickets are sent as soon as Hellotickets receives them from the seller, sometimes up to 1–2 days before the event, so for a December show keep an eye on your inbox in the days before.
