Morrissey tickets

The run takes a fortnight: Brighton on the Sunday, Cardiff the following Thursday, Liverpool that Saturday, Glasgow midweek and Leeds the Saturday after. Four shows are listed for 6.30pm and Leeds for 6pm. All are evening shows, and none is a matinée.

The venues

• Brighton: The Brighton Centre is on the seafront, on Kings Road. Most buses stop at Churchill Square, a few minutes away, and National Express coaches arrive at Pool Valley coach station, about a 5-minute walk. There is no venue car park.
• Cardiff: at standing shows, the ground floor of Utilita Arena Cardiff is general admission with no seats. The tiered blocks around it are not step-free, and the Live Access areas are on Levels 1 and 2.
• Liverpool: M&S Bank Arena stands on Kings Dock, on the waterfront. Its floor sits on a lower level reached by steps; the lower tier uses odd-numbered blocks and the upper tier even-numbered ones, with level-access accessible bays between the two. The Kings Dock Car Park is on site.
• Glasgow: at OVO Hydro, the lifts serve only the concourses of the first two floors, so Level 3, the upper tier, means stairs. Drop-off and pick-up are on Stobcross Road, at the rear entrance of the SEC Centre, and there is a 24-hour multi-storey car park on the campus.
• Leeds: the arena, now styled first direct bank arena, is cashless and has no cloakroom or bag storage, so backpacks and large bags are turned away. Children aged 24 months and over need a seat of their own.

Cardiff has had the lowest starting price, through its Tiered Seats, with General Admission and Standing above them. Glasgow comes close behind: OVO Hydro's Middle and Middle Tier zones open below Standing and the Lower Tier, and Retractable Seating has been the dearest zone there. In Liverpool, the Upper Tier leads, ahead of the Lower Tier and the floor.

Leeds starts in its Middle Tier, with the floor and the lower tiers above it. Brighton is the outlier, with only standing listings so far, Floor Standing and Standing, and the highest starting price of the run.

Four of the five dates were on sale at their official sellers at the last check, and face value is usually the cheaper route where it remains; Brighton had sold out of new tickets. Resale sellers set their own prices, which can be above face value, and Hellotickets shows the final price before you pay.

Two official sellers cover the tour. Ticketmaster UK lists Brighton, Liverpool, Glasgow and Leeds; Live Nation UK lists only the Cardiff show, on Thursday 10 December, with a "Get tickets" button at the last check. On 3 November the Brighton date on Sunday 6 December showed as sold out at Ticketmaster UK, with a single Verified Resale ticket and no new tickets.

The venues' own pages are less helpful. They carry a "Buy tickets" label whether or not a date has sold out, so the seller's event page, linked from the table, is the one that tells you whether standard tickets remain.

Two venue notes. The Leeds arena names AXS as its ticketing partner, although this date sits on Ticketmaster UK. In Cardiff, Live Nation has said it will stop running the city-centre arena if the planned venue at Atlantic Wharf is built, so check that the arena named on your ticket is the one you expect.

If a date sells out

Resale is then the remaining route. Hellotickets lists seats from other sellers and says: "Every ticket is authenticated. If there's ever an issue, you're protected by our refund policy." Its tickets are sent as soon as it receives them from the seller, sometimes up to 1–2 days before the event.
